My friend and I got a cab Saturday night (10/21/2007) around midnight from Tiki Joe's in Kirkland to the Blue Water at Carillon Point (no more than 2 miles, no traffic & no stop lights). We get in the cab and the driver starts driving and says, "$10.00"...AND YES, HE NEVER STARTED THE METER! We tell him to stop the car and let us out and that we were going to tell the cops that he was trying to rip us off or to start the meter. He started it right away. Our cab ride was $5 when we arrived at Blue Water. He tried to double his fee. Doesn't stop there. My wallet fell out of my purse so I called the cab company (lost and found) the next day and spoke with a dispatcher who informed me that Manny (the superintendant) would not be in until Monday morning. I reach the superintendant MANNY'S voicemail, so I leave a message. Then I call back Monday (when I was told he would be there) and yet again, no answer so I just left another message saying that it was really important to me to find out if my wallet was turned in or not. By the end of the day, no call back. So I call the GM and leave a message saying I can't get ahold of anyone and that I'm trying to find out if my wallet is there. Today I get a very threatening, rude call from Manny (the Farwest Cab Company's Superintendent) yelling at me and telling me that my wallet is not there and to never call back again. He was very threatening, yelling, rude & inconsiderate. I will NEVER USE this cab company again...EVER! In fact, I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau regarding this unfortunate event. Turns out, my wallet was left in the cab and some wonderful person who got in after us grabbed it and turned it into the Bellevue police...I doubt the driver would have. To Manny (Superintendent), yes it was in your cab. Cops just called me and told me it was.

This company nearly caused me to miss my flight. I called at 6 PM on the 14th of Sept for a ride to the airport (five minutes away) to be picked up at 6:30 PM. I needed to be at the airport by 7 PM. At 6:50 PM I called again when they didn't show. I was told by a different person they couldn't find my information, so I gave it again and was told they would arrive in ten minutes. At 7:05 I called again, admittedly angry, and got nothing but attitude rather than resolution. I hung up, threw my things in the back of my car and drove to the airport. I left my vehicle in long term parking and managed to catch my flight due to it being delayed. When I returned I called Farwest and asked to speak to a manager. I was put through to his voicemail, where I requested he call me back about a problem I had with his company. Four days later I called again, and again I was put through to his voicemail where I left the same message. Eight days after this I called yet again, and this time got through to the superintendent, "Manny". This man did nothing but continually interrupt me as I tried to explain my situation, and then when I asked him to stop interrupting he called ME rude and hung up. I later looked online for reviews of this company and have yet to find one reflecting in the positive. My own, obviously, will not help them fix that.
