I ve eaten at the pie several times with friends and family. We have allways had a great time and the food is wonderful. good advise is to submit your order in writing .That way they cannot mistake it. In the warm months there is an inredible scene outback on the patio with a huge huge fountain.

I used to live downtown and enjoyed The Pie (on the U campus) regularly. It was a fun atmosphere, and even if we took take-out, it was the best pizza I'd ever had. When I moved out to South Jordan, I was sad that I couldn't get The Pie anymore. Then when they built a location out here, I was thrilled. However, there are many reasons why I won't go there anymore. For starters, the restaurant itself is cramped and dingy. The lamps hang so low above the tables that I, my husband, and a friend's child (on separate occasions) have all bumped our heads on them trying to get out of the booths. And their delivery service is ridiculous! They have a seriously small delivery area (like two miles, tops) but then they "pick and choose" desirable locations outside of their delivery area (the eBay offices and Daybreak) to deliver to. For instance, I live just one block outside their delivery area, so they won't deliver to me, but they will drive literally right past my house to deliver to Daybreak (I live inside the entrance to Daybreak, but not in Daybreak proper). Does this make any sense? I complained about it, but the decision was upheld by the manager and the owner as "reasonable". I see no reason in it whatsoever. Now, if I'm really craving a pizza, I'll make it myself, thanks.

The original Pie was built up at University of Utah and made to appeal to college students. This location is fairly new. They still have the bricks on the walls for people to write things on. This location was made to pack people in and be noisy. All of the locations are this way. The pizza is great and well worth it. My kids have fun writing on the walls.

PROS: great pizza
CONS: noisy

I have had the pleasure to dine on The Pie 3 times and every time it was fantastic. I love their thick crust which always comes out crisp on the bottom and chewy on top. Their Hawaiian is to die for-with little baby shrimp as well as the standard pineapple and ham. What I like most about The Pie is the different combinations that they put on their pizzas. Alfredo/garlic sauce with chicken and broccoli is unusual, but delicious. They also serve their own brew of drinks. If you ever get the chance to try The Pie you should take it.

PROS: Yummy Pizza with great taste and texture. fun atmosphere.
CONS: On the high side for cost.
