2-3 years ago Campania used to have very good pizza: great crust and good quality ingredients. I just had some for the first time in a while and it was bad. The crust reminded me of the type of pizza crust you'd get from a rock bottom brand at your grocery store's frozen section. The cheese and toppings were about as forgettable as they come. Most of the reviews on here are from some time ago so I don't know if they changed owners or what. If it wasn't for the pleasant memories I have of the place I'd give it a 1 out of 5 stars.

Pros: Used to be good

Cons: Sunk into bland mediocrity

The pizza here is fabulous even though it can be a little loud inside. Outside seating is nice in the summer.

I found this place right when I returned from a 2 week trip in Italy. After eating pizza every day in Italy, I wasn't sure I would be able to eat it back in the states. I was so thankful when I found Campania. We eat here all the time. It's BYOB which is fabulous and they have pizza that's flavors are so close to the ones in Italy.

This is a wonderful family restaurant. My husband and son love the food and the idea of making your own pizza was a blast. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want authentic italian food.

We like to go here because we can design our own pizzas and drink wine. Right next to there is a fabulous little yoghurt shop called Yogiliscious. It's really good!

I am literally eating this pizza as I write. I've been in Dallas, from NY for about a year and I typically just stick to pizza hut :( because all the pizzas ive tried here are pretty bad. This so far has been the best pizza and closest to home. It's slices are a bit thin, and little pricey, but they are hardly skimpy on the sizes of the slice or the toppings. i ordered sausage on mine which I usually dont do, because I do not like most pizza places sausage, but this was incredible. It looks as though it might have pepper on it, but it is not spicy, which I like.... nothing worse than burning your mouth off while trying to enjoy the pizza. The ingredients taste fresh and the smell is amazing.... it is overall really good. The only thing I would recommend is that they start serving an option of thick crust and also that they out wax paper down on their boxes. Because the pizzas so hot, cheesy and fresh it tends to stick to the cardboard box and it is kind of annoying not being able to rip off a full piece. Oh and also there delivery was great. On a friday night, it took maybe 30- 40 mins and the guy found my apt no problem and was really friendly and great.

Pros: Great Pizza, great toppings, fresh, quick delivery, good service on the phone and delivery

Cons: a bit pricey, need to put wax paper on boxes, so the pizza does stick to the box, more crust options

Pizza was great and service was AMAZING!! BYOB and fun outdoor ambiance. We had a large group and because we had to wait (15 minutes) the manager didn't charge us for some of our pizzas!! He was above and beyond accommodating to our table.

Pizza was some of the best in town. Great for large groups! The Nutella dessert pizza is to die for! We were all so impressed with the magagement AND the food that we want to come back weekly. Great spot for an inexpensive but delicious meal, byob, fun setting and incredible service.

We are sold on Campania!!
You have to try this place!!

Great pizza, it's true. However, after happily delivering to my home before, Campagnia tonight flatly told me it's "out of area" with no apology. C'mon, it's not good business to act that way toward a loyal customer.

I will admit that I've never been to Italy, and this may be how they make 'em there, but now I know why the chef from New York won the international pizza competition (which took place in Italy)! Sorry, but I'm just not a fan of the thin "cracker" crust--sort of insubstantial to my taste, not filling or satisfying or particularly flavorful. And, yes, the large salads were not exactly large. I'm sure "dainty" eaters really love this place, but for normal appetites or families Dallas has better.

The food here is very good, but a little too expensive. I'd go again, but wouldn't become a regular.

We were pleased. The pizza was not oily, crust was just the right thickness, toppings were fresh and the sauce provided a wonderful taste. Service was good and on top of things but then it may have helped it was a Wednesday evening. The salads looked good but appeared overpriced ($8) to have as a side salad with our pizza. We don't eat meat but ordered one of their specialties minus the meat...which still was cheaper than ordering a cheese pizza plus the additional toppings.

On a memorable trip to Italy, I experienced pizza at the oldest establishment in Italy (da Michele located in Naples, IT). When I bit into the pizza at Campania for a moment I felt like I was back in Italy. The pizza is mouthwatering and will make your toungue sing! The authenticity is possible because the owners came to America from Napoli, IT only a few years ago. If you are a foodie, this place is for you! And, if you are not, you will still enjoy the pizza, the quaint atmosphere, the great prices and the fact that you can bring your own alcoholic treat!

What a place for the best pizza in Dallas. This coming from a native Chicagoan whose hometown has arguably some of the best pizza on earth!

Five out of Five stars for this great new place! A very authentic menu with a great and unusual contrast, like corn as a topping! Yummy..

Another great perk is you can bring your own wine. The wait staff cheerfully brings you nice stemware and a cork screw!

This is a must try establishment! They deliver so dont forget to grab the to go menu!

This little gem is a rarity in Dallas (uptown). It'a a quaint place to go with friends and family. The pizza is genuine italian pizza, unlike any other in the Dallas metropolex. I have been attending almost every weekend since they opened and have turned at least 20 of my friends and colleagues onto. I cannot rave enough about both the "Quatro Stagioni" pizza and the "secret recipe" dressing on their Basica salads.......and girls let us not forget the BYOB policy, which makes this gem a diamond. That being said the service has recently shifted with the appearance of staff who sometime charges extra for a side of Balsamic vinegar! However that is my only complaint and I hear it's changing. They also just opened the expansion so the wait is way less. I love this place!!

I'm at a loss to explain how good this pizza really is. The flavors are fresh and the crust is crisp and thin. We've tried a different pizza every time we've gone and they've all been fabulous. The calzone is huge and my husband said it reminded him of Rome. It's such a bargain, too, considering you can bring your own wine. We love it!

One of the best restaurants in town, hands down. The food is unparalelled, even at fancier restaurants. The crust is a perfect thickness and texture; it serves as a great base for the toppings. And are there ever toppings! Make a pizza with literally almost anything on it, or choose from their dozens of set pizzas. The place is always bustling, so service can be slow, but it's more than worth it. The salads are great, too, but the pizza can't be beat. The "mini" pizzas are anything but, and will leave one person quite satisfied.

I've had my share of pizza all over the world. This place will get you the closest to Napoli .Maybe because the guy who makes it is from there. Even the flour imported from Italy! The world famous"Caputo 00". My favorite is "Caprese" and maybe "Quattro Formaggi". If you think that service was a bit slow ,you will be rewarded for being patient . My friend told me that the sandwich with tuna he had there was out of this world.

as an Italian living in Dallas, FINALLY a pizza place that doesn't have CORPORATE written all over it. This is MOM's Sicilian pizza, and it's a sight to behold. Amazing, while you can order pepperoni, DON'T, go for the 10 original pies, the ones with no red sauce. You won't be disapointed. Sit outside and look at life in Uptown. Dallas you done good!
