I have taken my car's to Clint for years. He is honest and helpful he always gets approval for the repairs. I have taken my cars to this auto shop for years. They are always helpful even when my son's car broke down in the middle of the road they helped get the tow truck to get him out of harms way. I would recommend this company for all of your auto needs!

I took my 1991 Plymouth Colt into the Washington State Vehicle Emissions testing stations for required emissions testing.
Because I work in Bremerton from 7 AM to 4 PM and live in Gig Harbor, it is difficult to get to Tacoma during the week during normal working hours, so I made arrangements with Chris, the technician, to have my girlfriend drop the car off before she went to work on the morning of Thurs May 24th

At the time I left work at 3:30 PM that day, I called Chris and he informed me that it was the Oxygen sensor and that it would cost about $210 to repair it and the car would be ready to pick up by the time the shop closed at 6:00 PM that day.
At around 4:00 PM I called Chris he informed me that the car would *not* be ready by the end of that day, but would be ready to pick up on Friday the 25th. I asked him to call me on Friday when the work was complete and the car was ready for pickup.
On Friday at around 2:30 PM, I still had not heard from Chris - so I called the shop and Chris informed me that the technician had "run into problems" replacing that Oxygen Sensor and that he had had to basically dissemble the exhaust system from the exhaust manifold and that I would be billed over FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS for the repair. I told him I did not authorize this per state law then I called the state Attorney Gen's office right away and they said my only recourse was to pay, then file a complaint. I called the shop back and spoke to Chris, again telling him they should have contacted me before proceeding with this repair then gave him my credit card number and arranged to pick up the vehicle after hours on Friday, May 25th. I asked him to leave the paperwork and the Oxygen sensor in the vehicle for me.
But no paperwork and no Oxygen Sensor were left in the vehicle. I have not seen any kind of invoice for this repair work and although the repair passed emissions, they did not follow state requirements in raising the price without authorization.
