First off, let me just say that this place owes me over $100 in a reimbursement. I just graduated high school. They promised me my check two months ago. If they can't reimburse a high school student her money, then what kind of place is this? I'm going to college. My parents aren't paying for my college tuition/fees. So, Peninsula Grill, I need that money because that was part of my savings for dorm shopping and book buying.

I went with my high school newspaper staff for our annual end of the year banquet, and it was just a disappointment. I specifically asked them if we could show a slideshow/video. It took over an hour to put it all together. And in the end, it also took our three technology editors and two editors-in-chief (including me) to figure it out.

Then the food. I did not like any of it. The salad was messily tossed together, the meat was cold by the time I got to it (all I did was just stand in line for 5 minutes), and when I asked about one of the dishes, the employee looked at it blankly and then mumbled something.

The service. Well, besides the employee who made crepes for that one hour, it was not very good. You know, if you work in a restaurant, then you better have good customer service. You better know how to smile and be friendly. Even if you have to fake it. Also, if your customers are high school girls, please don't flirt with them.

Lastly, my staff member had already paid a deposit, and the restaurant had given our adviser (the only adult there that evening) the invoice...and yet, they still gave me the check and asked me to pay over $900.

Shady business. Pathetic service. Honestly. You can't reimburse/pay back an 18-year-old?

Thank god I moved away from California. Even if I still lived in California, though, I would never return.

My experience at Peninsula Grill has been the worst experience in my entire life.

I almost didn't go in after looking at the menu because it looked rather blah, but I'd be missing out if I hadn't! The filet mignon kabobs are so so tasty and just the right amount of meat. I loved them so much that I find it hard to
