The salon was clean, if not a bit small., but nice. The lady who performed my waxing service brisk and efficient. She did warm up and become a little bit more conversational about half way through. The waxing bed (or whatever you call it) basically filled the entire room.

The stylist all rent their chairs. So although I would NOT recommend the gentlemen I went to, others there may be great. Robert did spend time discussing my hair color with me quite extensively. Unfortunately I came out looking like a calico cat! What I wanted was a double process (with all over color then highlights). What I got was one color on the bottom, and two colors as highlights on top of my head. So red strip, blond strip, natural color strip, repeat. My boyfriend's first comment to me was, "how many colors did they put on there... TEN?!?" He did not not really discuss what I wanted the cut to be like. I figured, how hard could it be to copy/follow a cut. And he must know what he's doing because he isn't asking a lot of questions. Four hours later I ended up with color I hate (did I mention that he did the blonde highlights way far back from the scalp?... so it looks like I have a least 3 weeks growth there even though I just walked out of the salon... he didn't do that with the other color) and a cut that was only slightly what I wanted... i.e. shorter. I would not return to this salon. I gave it an average rating on so I wouldn't insult the other stylist that I don't have the guts to go see.

Lana is the best bikini waxer I have experienced in 10+ years - very thorough and fast - very friendly without too much chatter. I can also confidently trust her with my eyebrows!

I can say that Brandon Alexander Salon and Spa has been my discovery of today. You know how you wake up in the morning look in the mirror and get a feeling that you are ready for something new? Well that was my morning. I was in the area and decided to stop by and try my luck as a walk in (that shows how desperate I was for a change!). Well, I guess that was my lucky day. I've been able to get an appointment with hair stylist for color and style, and while I was waiting I've got my eye brows waxed by Lana, she is the owner. Then I've got my nails done and finally hair and style. It was nice to get a professional, who is not afraid to give you a suggestion about what is best for you.
I've spend 4 1/2hours at the salon (luckily it was my day off) but I was leaving with TOTALLY new Hair Color and style, beautiful nails, perfect eye brows and a scheduled appointment for a facial with Lana (she is that good!). When I was paying for the services it didn't feel that I was spending, it felt as I've done an investment in myself, and what could be better?!
If you are in the area and up to a make over this is the place to stop by. Nice, fun and friendly place.

I went to Brandon Alexander to get an up-do for my wedding. I went the week before to get a practice and I was not happy with the end product, or the time it took to accomplish such shabby results. I did not want to return, but I had no choice because everywhere else was booked up. We were there all day! I was nervous enough already without having to worry if I would make it to my own wedding. He didn't listen to me at all and my hair ended up looking nothing like I wanted. I had to curl my hair again before the wedding. My cousin's makeup look tramp-ish, and her hair looked like a bird's nest. The only consolation was my mom and my sister's hair turned out beautiful, they were done by two other gentlemen. I would not recommend this business for up-do or makeup.

I have been going to Lana for 12+ years now for a monthly eyebrow and eyelash tint; eyebrow wax; and bikini wax, and she is the best!!! This is her new salon, and I am very proud of her. Brandon Alexander (named after her precious little boy) is chic and beautiful, but you feel right at home: diva quality, without the diva attitude. Lana is an experienced aesthetician, and she is the best. She is friendly, funny and beautiful...a true professional! Do yourself a favor and visit this terrific salon...you will be glad you did.
