good food, a bit pricey, bad location 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I've been to the restaurant a few times and everytime I go I enjoy the food. Most of the menu items in my mind are way over-priced. I feel like I am paying for a 5 star restaurant and food, but getting more of a fast food type atmosphere. Dont' get me wrong, the food by no means comes out fast... but if you are hungry enough it's worth the wait. Probably the best thing about the place (besides some of the dishes) are some of the staff members. We are almost always greeted by a hostess and visited by a manager during our visit. It's nice to know that someone is making sure our experience has been a good one. On a side note -- whats with the full service at night and cafe style during the day? It gets a little confusing if you have never been to the restaurant.

Pros: nice managers, some good items on menu
Cons: too pricey, confusing set up

nothing special 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

We went for lunch on a Saturday. The Mediterranean Sandwich was blah tasting, with room temperature chicken (scary...not cold and not hot) and black olives rather then Greek olives. The Mediterranean salad had a milky tasteless dressing with black olives again substituted for Greek olives. The strangest thing upon entering the restaurant was seeing a large Panera Bread box of bagels behind the counter. Also, behind the counter were institutional looking loaves of bread. We had hoped the place would be on par with a Panera Bread, but it wasn't even close. Don't waste your time here. Panera Bread is virtually across the street.

Totally Ignored 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

We went in to get a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The place was empty except for 4 or 5 employees standing around behind the counter talking. We had to walk across the restaurant to get to the hostess station, so clearly we were seen. Every one of the employees saw us and continued talking amongst themselves without a single acknowledgement of our presence. We stood at the hostess station for an uncomfortable amount of time, still being ignored, and finally left. However, Gianni & Gaitanos' Grandma's pizza was fantastic!

Horrid customer service. Not going to try the food.

Pros: The air conditioning was on for our wait - it was hot that day
Cons: zero service

Different location, different service 5 Star Rating - World class

The location in Northeast Raleigh seems to have friendly service and good food. There is a band on Saturday nights.

Pros: The chocolate bomb was tasty
Cons: A wait on the weekends
