Charles Penzone

The Charles Penzone family of salons are terrific. I have been to all of the locations and believe them all to be of very high quality. The staff is always welcoming and friendly which is somewhat unexpected for such a ritzy place.

Expect fairly high prices for the area, but I believe you get what you pay for. My best hair care has been at the Charles Penzone salons.

PROS: Highly trained professionals, great atmosphere
CONS: Moderately high prices

I had my hair done by Jersey and I highly recommend her. She was great - did my hair beautifully and was very nice and professional. However, I am giving only three stars for the entire review because my make up was AWFUL. I asked for "natural" and she put green eyeshadow up to my eyebrows and black liquid eyeliner like cleopatra. this would have been fine if I had wanted to look like a geisha girl. But NOT on my wedding day. ultimately I ended up doing my own make up. I made the make up artist cry because I told her I hated it but whatever. She deserved it.

Charles Penzone Grand Salon is a locally owned family business that has been in Central Ohio since 1969.

There are eight different salons to choose from to receive head to toe services for the hair, nails and skin.

I visited the Gahanna location for a pedicure and maternity massage. I was very pleased with both services. The nail tech was professional and friendly and did a very good job.
The massage therapist was truly amazing. She made is possible for me to be comfortable for the remaining 3 weeks of my pregnacy. I can't wait to return for another full body massage!!!
