Went there twice since it is out of the way for us but the food was great staff was friendly but a little of over worked they should add 2 more to wait on people. We would return but priced a little too high for us

PROS: good food but a little pricey
CONS: need to add more people to wait on tables

John's Italian Restaurant is Hamlin, PA is a sit down, newly renovated restaurant which specializes in seafood and Italian. We have been there to eat 3 times. It is a medicore restaurant. In order to get to the non-smoking seats, you must walk through a smelly bar/smoking section. The food is very expensive for what you receive. For example, a dish of meatball parm is over $13.00 and a Calamari appetizer is $9. That is very high for the rural area we are in. The pizza is very good, so that is why I gave it a three star review.

Do not go before 6 p.m.; it is very busy with senior citizens and the wait staff are overworked and obviously stressed.

PROS: Great pizza, good take out specials
CONS: Overpriced menu, understaffed.
