This specialty shop for tea products is as inviting as its rural setting adjacent to a country Church on Route 145 in Lawyersville (Cobleskill).

The owner is very knowledgeable and spent time with me to identify teas that I might enjoy. The airy, clean shop is filled with the scent of freshly baked goods accentuated by the visual appeal of the merchandize.

To visit Thyme for Tea is to become a customer for life.

PROS: Owner is so helpful and knowledgeable.
CONS: I'm diabetic; the fresh scones are irresistable! Alas!

This quaint shop, located in the historic home of the owner, hits the spot when you are looking for a wide selection of teas, local honey, and plain old country charm.

You'll never deal with a kinder or more honest proprietor- to wit: I bought a small lot of similar items, paid, and left. When I went back over a month later, the proprietor not only remembered me, but she had a dollar tacked next to her cash register to give me because she realized after I had left that she overcharged me.

Fresh tea is always brewing and samples of the wares are available. Need to know how to brew the perfect pot of tea? No problem- just ask the owner- she'll be glad to help. Or pick up a complimentray tea-brewing brochure.

Herbal teas, black teas, green teas, white teas, organic teas, chocolates, honey, soaps, lip balm, and more are all available at this charming country store.

PROS: Wonderful service, wide selection of teas
CONS:
