I have been going there on and off for over 30 years. It is my absolute favorit steam rooms because of the various fantastic room especially the radiant heat with the oven and the cold water buckets.
Gone are the days of the holistic body workers that used to specialize in some great work.
Now you mostly get a Russian male of female body worker and if what you like is a strong message they are fine.
Bring your creams and shampoos, soaps and scrubs. It is still the best bath house in the city, but a spa it is not. I would have rated it a 5 but it is NOT world Class. So I only rated it a 4 because it is special.

Very dry sauna. Very wet Turkish room. Steam room with a solar heat in which to roast oneself like a Thanksgiving turkey with buckets of freezing icy water to dump over your head when it gets too hot. Freezing pool to jump into when the steam becomes too much. Spend a few hours to become blissed out. $25 admission, ladies only on Wednesday 9 - 2, Gents only on Sunday 7 - 2, the rest of the time it's co-ed."
