My son's favoriate place to hang out with MOM.  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I used to love Papacino's. However, they now have the most expensive latte in town. Their coffee is decent, not strong enough for me. A few unfriendly employees were hired. This winter their roof leaked severely... rain was dripping on people's heads and customers were sitting in cushioned chairs soaked with water. I never saw management show any concern. I do love their scones. It is unfortunate to see my favorite neighborhood coffee shop slide so rapidly down hill... What happened?

good service, comfy atmosphere, and great coffee  4 Star Rating - Very good

I just moved into the neighborhood and this is one of the first places I visited. The people who work there are so friendly and helpful (even when it's the busy early morning crunch-time.) The place has a relaxed enough atmosphere that you feel comfortable bringing along your kids, having coffee-talk with your best friend, or perusing literature in one of the big red chairs. Amidst these other characteristics, the coffee and pastries are superb. I know that Portland is famous for its great coffee, but this stuff really hits the spot. Enjoy!

Great Woodstock coffee shop  4 Star Rating - Very good

This place has a great south-facing window where there are chairs in which you can sit and sun yourself, but these chairs are quite popular so be sure to grab one if you see one.

Seems to be quite kid friendly, in fact there is a child playing with some toys behind me in the "kid area" as we speak.

The wireless internet didn't work too well for me, but that's okay because there was another open wireless network called "zoom" nearby.

PROS: Friendly staff, quiet atmosphere, outlets for computer
CONS: Wireless internet doesn't work

Easy going local coffee shop, very kid friendly.  4 Star Rating - Very good

This neighborhood coffee shop is great for bringing kid's on rainy days. They have bagels, pastries, hot drinks, and a cozy kid's area for reading and playing. They also have iced tea and coffee to purchase to use at home.
This is an independent coffee shop and the Woodstock neighborhood supports local businesses. You will find people outside on the sidewalk reading and enjoying coffee even in wintertime. The staff is friendly and easy going and the service is quick.
