Do Not RENT FROM REFLECTON COVE!!!!! AS A LONGTIME RESIDENT OF OVER 4 YEARS i CAN TELL YOU THAT WHEN YOU DO MOVE THEY WILL KEEP YOUR DEP0SIT!! THEY DID NOT RETURN MY $500 DOLLAR DEPOSIT EVEN AFTER I LEFT MY APARTMENT SPOTLESS......THERE ARE MANY VERY NICE COMPLEXES CLOSE BY LIKE ORCHARD VILLAGE WITH MORE SQUARE FOOTAGE AND LOWER PRICES! As I was trying to research the management group that Reflection Cove falls under, I came across this website. Let me tell you a little bit about my current struggle with these obnoxious people.

I left Reflection Cove in July. it is now end of October... I recived a call today telling me they are sueing me for over four hundred dollars. What? This our first notice of any problems and we're jumping to courtrooms and lawyers? Really? When we told them we don't have four hundred dollars at this very moment, we were informed that there wasn't anything to discuss, see you in court and then HUNG UP ON. What? And here I was living under the illusion that I lived in an adult world...

So, I called the office. I spoke with Nikki. She's a little bit of sunshine and rainbows, isn't she? After being informed that I was being charged three hundred dollars for a special sealant they had to use for CRAYON ON THE WALL (I am assuming she is childless - probably due to the fact that men have a hard time relating to this ICE QUEEN), and I was being charged a $150 dollars because the apartment wasn't cleaned. Okay. So I asked her what other cleaning (for future reference) would I need to do besides bleach the bathrooms and clean the kitchen, as well as steam clean the carpets? Her reply? "I don't know, but you were charged with $150 cleaning bill." Awesome answer.

So, then I decided to broach the subject of how all of this unpleasantness was thrown on us. She claimed we did not leave a forwarding address, so they were unable to contact us earlier. Not only did we leave a forwarding address, but the complex we live at now had to contact her FOUR times before we moved because they wouldn't give us a reference. I decided to gloss over this fact (can't reason with crazy) and reminded her that they had our cell numbers. That's how we were contacted today... Her reply? SHE HAD SENT A LETTER TO OUR OLD APARTMENT AND IT WAS SENT BACK. She then says, "I'm looking at it right now'. You're right. The letter we never got should definately be construed as 'contacting us'.

shall I go into all the problems we had BEFORE we left that caused us to leave? The $200 rate hike that they refused to discuss with us? The bottom step leading to our apartment that was split and rusting and broken up into tiny bits for two months? Their immediate lack of common sense or tact? The staff's inepitude at dealing with humans in a respectful manner? My precousious heater that only worked when it felt like working? AFTER it was fixed half a dozen times. My kids were not allowed to play on the balcony because I was pretty sure it was waiting for the exact moment to fall off the building. My kids were also unable to play out in the courtyard due to the large amaounts of canine fecal matter cluttering the amazing parklike landscaping. The hottub/sauna/pool were all on a rotation of BROKE. All three were never fixed at the same time. The hottub alone was out of commission for over a year. And STILL doesn't work properly.

I have lived in apartments my entire adult life. I have NEVER experienced such lack of respect, inept management and inability to just be NICE PEOPLE.

I would recommend you leave this property alone.

And that ends my rant.

The new management is terrible ... I have lived in the apartment for 3 years ...never had an issue with the old managemnet ...since the time the new management took over the maintaince has been bad ,the staff is very rude and will not listen to your concerns . We decided to move out . It is a pain to even move out of the apartment . You will not get your deposit back and also the staff will not communicate well to you .They agree on something and would then back out . And at the same time be rude .They have no sense of customer service..STAY AWAY if you want to have no hazzels .

The rent is expensive but we have a 2 bedroom with a den facing the pretty lake. I will say that the windows have proven to be very drafty....we insulated them ourselves now that it's getting cold. We have a major spider problem. They did offer to spray our apt but refused because we have a newborn baby and I didn't agree with the combination. This morning our heat isn't working though; I called the 24 emergency line and hopefully will be getting a call back soon. We...knock, knock, knock.... holy smokes they are here in a matter of minutes. That's great! Note to self: don't store plastic bags near heater....it was our fault the heater wasn't working because it sucked up all the bags. Opps!
And just to warn you...there's no breaking lease. We were going to buy a house but when we found out you can't break the lease in any negogiatable way, we said screw it! Besides we really like this place, the management is nice enough. The grounds are kept very clean and they are prompt with maintenance. We got a great refund when we moved in as a special and one of our friends got money for the referral.

I can't believe these reviews. I lived in Reflection Cove 3 years ago and loved it. I was even recommending this a friend who is moving to the area. All I can assume is that there is new management.

I lived there for 1 year while looking for a home in the area. We had excellent service - deck paint peeling - out the next day to repaint - ant problems - it was because our neighbors left their trash by the door - they were fined. I saw the note on the door. We got every last penny of our deposit back.

Is this under new management? If so, I may not make a recommendation to a friend.

After searching for over a year for a suitable apartment for my mother and me, we had just about given up! We wanted something attractive, bright, lots of windows, clean, beautiful grounds, large rooms, and ""dog friendly"". All of the other apartment complexes were dark, dreary, small and depressing just to look through. We couldn't picture ourselves living every day in ""dungeon-like"" surroundings. And we didn't want to spend a small fortune on rent either. We were also looking for a West County location, since that's where we've lived for 30+ years.\r\n\r\nWe had passed Reflection Cove several times, but because of the surrounding beautiful lakes on the property and the pricy look, we assumed it was well out of our price range. Wrong!!!! We finally decided to look at them and find out the prices.\r\n\r\nWe were pleasantly suprised at the different layouts available, as well as the pricing! And the staff was so friendly and helpful. We were hooked! And now after 2 years at Relfection Cove, we are more convinced than ever that we chose the right place for us! \r\n\r\nOur apartment is spacious, bright and light (lots of large windows). There are lovely walks around the lakes, a fountain in the middle of one lake. Many dog lovers live here. Everyone - staff and residents alike - are friendly. There are periodic parties for the residents at the lovely clubhouse (hosted by Reflection Cove), and a pool, too! Residents can rent the clubhouse for private parties (very economic) and there's even a ""guest apartment"" that can be rented for one or more days for people visiting residents!\r\n\r\nI've said many times that I feel like I'm living at a resort! The grounds are kept clean and lovely. My mom, my dog and I are SO happy we chose Reflection Cove as our home! It's the BEST!

Pros: The grounds, spacious apartments, garages/carports available, lakes, staff

Cons: Water drains from homes above one side of complex into the parking lot. But, it will be fixed.

Don't trust Jay K.'s reviews. If you noticed he wrote reviews for multiple apartments run by the same company... Could Jay be a management employee?

This place reminds me of universal studios. It is a bunch of fake fronts with nothing behind the doors. The complex paints, washes and cleans the pathways that they use to show apartments, but ignores the rest of the place. Our furnace has mini-explosions every other time we turn it on and the maintenance says that's normal. The wood on the balcony railing is rotting and the paint is pealing. Outdoor lighting bulbs are burnt and after 4 complaints I gave up. 1/2 the year the lights are turned on and off at the wrong time because the crew does not understand day light savings time, expect to come home or leave your apartment in the dark. The apartment advertises stocked ponds, but really should advertise mosquito farms. Worse of all, the longer you live here the more you pay. I was astonished that new tenets pay far less than established tenets. After one year expect a huge rent raise ~10%. Most people leave after one year because they see how they are getting robbed. At one time this place was run by a great management team, but they were pushed out for deeper pockets. Too much money was being spent on the apartments.

DO NOT live here. The management is worthless. There is new office staff every few months because the good staff can not stand to work here. We have had a leaky roof for 3 years. The paint is peeling off the balcony walls, and we constantly have ant problems. The place is pet friendly, but don't walk in the grass. No one ever picks up after their pet. On the good side, the apartment is safe. Just take my advise don't live here.

Reflection Cove Apartments are probably one of the best apartment complexes to stay in at West County. The management here is wonderful and do take care of the place. The units are well maintained and the location is awesome. Rent is not the lowest but pretty reasonable for what the place offers.
