My mom is in HHNorth right now for rehab for a fall about a month ago, she was in Health South before this, but wasn't quite independent yet so we decided to place her in HHN. She is receiving good care and is content enough, though she wants to go home. She is low maintenance though, and does not ask for much in the way of attention, although she does appreciate being taken out for a smoke now and then. However, I will say, that she has orders not to get up and walk around by herself since she is still a fall risk until she is better, and she tells me that she gets up all the time by herself. I doubt that it is every time, but I think she probably gets away with getting up a time or two more than I would like. All in all, she is happy with the food, the care, the people who work there, the activities, etc. so I still think (despite wishing there were more staff on duty in the wing) it is a good place for a loved one to go to get rehab. I have been approached by every type of service giver, including nurses, who work with her, to introduce him/herself, ask me questions, give me information, etc. I am impressed with the services and knowledge for rehab.

My father in law was at Heritage Hall and received good care there. If you have to be in rehab it is as good of a place as some others. He was very grateful for his care.

My precious Mom was in this "rehab" facility for two nights and it was too long. She received terribly inattentive care here. As a nurse, I was shocked by the lack of personal care given to all patients. My sister and I took round the clock turns to be with her the second night because we knew she would go unnoticed of we didn't. The first night she stayed, she was left for hours in a wheelchair unable to move back to the bed alone. Her call bell went unanswered. She never complained, her roomate told us, but I found her quietly weeping when I arrived the next morning still in the chair. We got her out of there and fast. BEWARE.

They have a great short term rehab there. They also have long term and assisted living. Plenty of room for these five buildings. They have plenty to keep the residents busy. They have a bizarre in Nov. and a 20 piece band that comes in the summer. Weekly activities which include Bingo, Cardo,Poker, Red Hat Society and much more. Very caring people work there.

Heritage Hall is a wonderful facility to trust for the care of those loved ones unable to care for themselves. My sister is in the West building which is filled with the most caring staff. They offer several activities every day to keep minds sharp. Some activities are music therapy, bingo, poker, red hat society, bowling, annual parties,,,,,,,,,and so much more. They do also offer a rehab facility for short term stays. Clean, kind, and caring,,,,,,what more could you ask for?
