Beware of the treatment of the house Dr. He is usually not available or too busy to bother with you. But when he does, his treatment and bedside manner are terrible. He would rather see you medicated than find out what the actual problem is. The nurses are great along with their assistants. This doctor should not treat people , he is bad news. I would give a negative star rate, if that was an option, do not let your loved ones get stuck with this palace.

My husband's bandages are not changed unless I demand it. He is not bathed unless I do it. The food is terrible - nothing fresh. It took two days for him to be evaluated after admission and wouldn't give him a walker until he was evaluated. They expected him to stay in bed for two days after walking for three days at the hospital. Think carefully before allowing a family member to be admitted for rehab, unless you can be with him/her most of the day.

Beautiful building with all the amenities of home. The food actually tastes like it is homemade, very rare these days. nursing staff is attentive and compassionate. The only bad thing about this place is the 4 aquariums they have. It looks like no one ever cleans them. I have been in there every Sunday for a few months and they always look the same. Especially the one near the main entrance. Other than that it is a wonderful place to trust your family to.
