We have been taking our dog to Becky ever since we have moved here four years ago. She is so wonderful. I have never worried about our dog while she is there. I know she has fun in the big fenced in area behind the kennel house. Becky is always trying new ways to make our dog more comfortable- she is a very neverous dog. The kennels are very large and kept very clean. Abigold's is a wonderful place.

Becky Timpano, of Abigold's Bed & Breakfast for Dogs is a true dog lover. You couldn't ask for a more caring, capable care-giver for your dogs when you have to leave them. The facility is fantastic -- with indoor/outdoor runs, radiant heated floors, huge spacious grass play yards and very secure fencing. Becky lives on site and checks on the dogs at all hours. She has the highest health and safety standards and truly spoils her guests. Becky also offers great training classes for puppies and dogs. Her website is abigold.com.

My husband and I were looking for an outlet to volunteer some of our time and a kennel to board our dog. The ad for Abigold's caught my attention right away. I thought, a Bed and Breakfast for Dogs, that sounds like my kind of place. Becky not only got two human volunteers, but our Shetland Sheepdog, Riley, came along as well. What we found when we first arrived was a kennel so immaculate that we were totally in awe. Next, we noticed how meticulous Becky was with her boarding regulations and policies. This put us at ease immediately knowing that our dog would be in a healthy environment. My husband was impressed with the indoor/outdoor runs available for each dog and the environmental factors such as air conditioning in the summer and heated runs for the winter. The big play yards were a definite bonus. We learned about Abigold's as a business and more importantly as a person. Becky lives on site and caters to her furry guests night and day. Whatever an animal needs they get it. Even though we started out as volunteers and customers, we eventually became friends. Becky's generosity, kindness, and devotion to her own furry companions is shown through her work. So board at Abigold's and you can be certain that your dog will be treated like own of her own!

Abigold's provides the best service for dogs! I feel very comfortable and secure leaving my dog in Becky's care. I'm not the only one either - Jack can hardly contain his excitement when it's time to "Go see, Becky." With a wagging tail, he drags me to the door and can't wait to get inside. Abigold's has everything from heated/cooled floors (depending on the season) to spacious, fenced-in play yards. The best of the best!!!!

Of all the places to board a dog that I've seen in my life, the finest is Abigold Bed and Breakfast for Dogs. I hesitate to call it a kennel, because it is so much more. I was completely surprised to see that each dog had a large heated/cooled room, a long private run, and an extremely large play area. Becky Timpano's care for each individual dog is evident as soon as you walk in. She knows each "guest's" name, their personality and special needs, and makes them feel at home. Our dog is quite sensitive, and at every other kennel we've taken him to, he comes out disoriented, traumatized, or just not himself. I give Abigold the highest compliment I can give, and that is that our dog comes home happier than when we left.

If you have to go away, Abigold's is a great place to leave your 4 legged friends! Becky runs a first class kennel and will love your dog almost as much as you do! The kennels are large and clean and the dogs get lots of exercise in the spacious play yards. Because it's at Becky's home, your pets always have someone near. My Sheltie considers Abigold's his home away from home and wants to leap out of the car as soon as we pull in the driveway. Take my advice and try Abigold's!

Abigold's Bed and Breakfast for Dogs is an exceptional facility. Becky Timpano, owner and operator, lives on site and provides exceptional care for her pet guests. Becky is a true dog lover and excellent trainer. Guests can enjoy play in her spacious play yard. They also have large indoor/outdoor runs, heated/cooled kennel, and LOTS of attention. Although their are similar facilities in our area, they cannot compete with Becky's experience and knowledge in operating a first-class kennel. Try Abigold! You and your dog will make it your first choice in exceptional pet boarding:)

I started going to Abigold a few years ago, after trying out a few of the other dog kennels in the area. I was completely impressed with the cleanliness of the kennel. Becky lives on the property, so I never have to worry that something could happen and there won't be anyone there. The inside runs are great, as are the outdoor runs. Everything is heated and air conditioned, so also don't have to worry that my spoiled pups are too hot or too cold! One of my dogs is not a fan of new people or new places, but she has no problem going to Becky's. I can honestly say that nowI can go on vacation without worrying everyday that my dogs are okay. I know that they are in good hands at Abigold.

We've been taking our dog to Abigold since it first opened - and we are so grateful for this wonderful place and its caring owner, Becky Timpano. Our dog's tail starts to wag as soon as he sees Becky - and they greet each other with great enthusiasm and lots of love. It was obvious from our first meeting, that Becky truly loves animals. She has created a happy, safe environment where we can leave our pet and know that he will be getting excellent care. We have traveled for as long as 3 weeks with the peace of mind that Becky cares for our dog like a member of our own family would. Becky also takes very positive steps to protect the dogs in her care.. Every owner must provide proof of vaccinations -- and, Becky, herself, is very knowledgeable-- keeping up to date on animal health care issues. We are very comfortable entrusting our beloved pet to Becky.

PROS: Loving care -- safe environment .

I have been taking Blade to Abigold for years, it all started when i was new to the area and in a pet store and heard this lady talking about laying in the kennel lastnight with this dog because it was so scared...it was Becky and we found Abigold.... Most Excellent place! Blade wags his tail when we get there, he loves the long run in the grass. Becky accommodates for size and whatever needs (favorite run) . Very clean, A/C and heated and I could not be more comfortable, Becky lives there on site. Scheduleing(online) is also very easy and formal, Im very happy and very satisfied and so is Blade . thanks becky !

PROS: Easy to schedule, A/C and heated, Dog is happy to be there
CONS: not any

My wife and I have been boarding our boxer, Maddie, with Becky for many years. Her services are excellent, A/C, large runs, personalized attention - and most of all our baby loves to visit. Maddie needs a large are to run in, and with the over-sized play area at Abigold, she has all the room she needs. Becky watches each animal as if they are her own, and has even made some very helpful suggestions to us in regard to her diet. I would never consisder going to another boarder, and we look forward to many more years of service with Becky.

I have been boarding my dogs with Abigold for several years now. After having used other boarders, and seeing the differerence with Becky, I refuse to allow my dogs to stay anywhere else. Her facility is immaculate, and the kennels are large, clean and well-maintained. But more importantly is Becky herself. She is a true animal lover. I feel that my dogs are cared for as well at Abigolds, as at home. My dogs come home happy and free of behavioral problems. With other boarders, my dogs would come home scared, and angry with me. I highly recommend Becky and Abigold. Any additional cost is well worth it.

Your dog will be happy at Abigold. We've been boarding our Chocolate Lab, Bailey, with Becky at Abigold for several years and have been thrilled with the care that Bailey receives. Becky truly loves dogs and her facility is top-notch. The kennels are clean, safe, and comfortable. Bailey gets lots of exercise and attention. The facility is well-kept with a large, flat, fenced yard on which the dogs can play. We've boarded Bailey in both summer and winter and the kennels were kept very comfortable for her. We highly recommend Abigold.

Abigolds is a one-of-a-kind bed and breakfast facility for dogs that has more to offer than the normal amenities of a kennel. The name says it all!!! Becky Timpano is not only the owner and operator, she is a wonderful person who gives each dog the individual attention to ensure each dogs experience at Abigolds is a happy, healthy and safe one . Becky forms a special bond with all dogs that she comes into contact with. My dog tends to be protective of me with most people, however, since I have been going to Abigolds (for over 10 years), my dog has never showed any sign of aggression around Becky due to her natural gift to connect with animals. My dog has special needs (he is a 12 year old Rottweiler/Shephard mix) and when I am out of town, I leave with peace of mind knowing that my dog will be happy, healthy and safe upon my return. There is a large outdoor fenced area that provides play time for the dogs. Each dog gets access to the play area several times a day. When the dogs are not out in the fenced play yardthey still have plently of room for comfort and exercise in their individual heated/AC indoor/outdoor run. The dogs at Abigolds are not tended to, they are CATERED to!!!! There are not enough words to express what a special place Abigolds is to me and my beloved dog!!! Taking your dog elsewhere would be a mistake!!!

PROS: Quality care, great facility ameneties, cleanliness and pet comfort level
CONS: Absolutely None!!!!!!

Becky Timpano, Owner of Abigold's Bed & Breakfast for Dogs is a true dog lover, just ask one of her dogs. You couldn't ask for a more caring, capable care-giver for your dog. The facility is great with large outdoor runs, radiant heated floors, AC, and spacious grass play yard. Becky lives on site which is very important to me. She also checks on the dogs at all hours. She is also more knowledgable of animal health and safety standards than some local vets. She knows ever dog by name and they know her. Becky also offers training classes for puppies and dogs. I have been taking my Shetland Sheepdog to Abigold's for approximately 2 years now. We started to use Abigold's when Ginger was only 12 weeks old and we needed to go out of town for the weekend. I can't express the care that Ginger receives while boarding with Becky.

We have also used Abigold's when we have been called out of town for an extended day and didn't want to leave Ginger in the house or crate all day until we returned later that evening. Becky has worked very well with us when we needed to take Ginger out unexpectedly when a family crisis came up. We were able to go and take care of business without the worry about what Ginger was doing or needing to rush back to let her outside.

Her property inside and out is always extremely clean and the grounds are always very well maintained.

It also is good feeling knowing that all the dogs there are up to date on shots and needed tests.

We also took a class on obidence offered by Becky even though Ginger was very young (14 weeks) and learned so much from her.

I would and have recommended Abigold's to everyone I know that is looking for a place to leave their families friend with confidence.

My Very Favorite Vacation Spot

I have toured and stayed in a few dog kennels in West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, and Florida in my three years of living. Most of the dogs and people seemed friendly enough and the accommodations were OK. However, Abigold Bed and Breakfast caters to my every need like no other. Why shouldn't it be my very favorite place to stay over night or for a couple of weeks? All the rooms have heated floors, there is air conditioning and fans, a private entrance to a comfortable sleeping and eating area, a swinging door to a covered patio and uncovered patio, plus it has good food and great treats. Becky Timpano, the proprietor, lets me play in three different fenced grass courtyards during the day. I feel safe there because a high fence surrounds the property, I m checked on all day and during the night, but most of all Becky showers me with her special kind of love and attention. Its great being a dog at Abigold Bed and Breakfast for Dogs.

Abigold is fabulous for fur people on four legs. Our dogs love going there, and we love knowing that Becky is the best in class when it comes to running a boarding kennel. She's great in a clutch, too. When our golden retriever over did playtime and became overheated, Becky did all the right things and saved her life. Our vet said her care and judgement were the best. We will be eternally grateful for that level of care and service. I wish we could give her six stars!

My golden retriever has never boarded anywhere else. At 6 years of age, she still gets excited when we pull into Becky's drive at Abigold's Bed and Breakfast. Becky is the best babysitter your dog could have - my dog stays warm in the winter with heated floors, cool in the summer with A/C, and gets lots of time outside in a protected yard. The runs are large, with indoor and outdoor sections. If you are considering boarding your dog, I strongly encourage you to check this kennel out. The price is equivalent to others, but the care is far above.
