This place is such a hot spot, the hall of fame for the All American sport. It features the heros of baseball, and has personal items on display. So so interesting, so so famous.

Ratings_icons Awesome!

Lori B. | top100 Top100 | Rank: 24

What a great museum this is. The day that we went was moderately crowded, but it is so huge, we could go at our own pace and not feel hurried by the crowds. The opening movie presentation was great, the exhibits were interesting. Curt Schillings bloody sock still gives me chills!...And no, it was not shoe polish! The Who's on First area was a nice place to sit, laugh, and regroup. The hall of plaques held our interest for quite a while. Highly recommended.

Ratings_icons If you like baseball you need to see this

Every baseball enthusist needs to see this at least once in their life. It has so much history of the game. From the outside the building looks very old. Once inside, it was done with class. Many of the shops outside of the hall of fame, concentrate on Red Sox and Yankee memoriablia because of the area of the country it is in. I recomend souvenier shopping oout side of the hall of fame. The prices are better

Ratings_icons My husband cried here

Ciara-Jayne H. | top100 Top100 | Rank: 30

Yes It's true! It was as if he had just walked into a sacred place. My son was a part of South City Fog 2006 and we were very fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit this wonderful, wonderful place. It is a baseball fans dream of all dreams to experience this magical place. Wall to wall of history from all the different leagues ever created in the United States. The most impressive to me is the American Negro Baseball league. It is amazing to see photocopies of contracts from many many many years ago. It is an amazing and a magical place to visit.

PROS: It is an experience of a lifetime
CONS: Your husband may never want to leave!

Ratings_icons Baseball HOF

Barbara B. | top100 Top100 | Rank: 7

We have been twice to the HOF. I really enjoy the three levels of Hall of Fame, but enjoyed most the section on the Woman In Baseball, baseball card section and the "locker room" where they have all the teams. I also love the HOF store- we spent way too much money there - so be prepared or leave your wallet in the car.

If you love baseball this is the place to visit. You get to learn about the origins of baseball and see how it evolved into the game that it is today. It is really interesting to see the equipment from the past. Women and Negro Leagues are covered as well as all of the present day teams. The museum also has memoirbillia on display and plenty of souvinors to buy in the gift shop. Photos are allowed.

Ratings_icons SO much fun

Amanda A. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 10,059

The HOF is a great place to spend the day.Exhibits change frequently, so there is usually something new to see. It gets very crowded in the summer. Definitely go off season if you can, it is much better that way. Also, allow lots of time to poke around the gift shop -- anything baseball related you could ever imagine is there! Great gifts, too
