We engaged FW Harris to investigate an excessive AC condensate water drain situation in the second floor AC furnace blower unit.

1. They were given two contact numbers to contact us one hour before arriving. The numbers were never forwarded with the work order. The technician went to our house and began the work without us there.
2. We called him at our house and he told us the condensate should have been draining into the main drain down into the house rather than outside the eaves, which he said was only for overflow emergency purposes. He said he would repipe the drain and correct the problem. I said ok I'll come over and meet you - he said don't bother I'll be gone before you get there, which was in 45 minutes. For the visit FW Harris charged $294.
3. Two days later we found the basement furnace air conditioner system was flooded. I spent about 3 hours investigating and dealing with it. I found that when the FW Harris cleared the drain on the upstairs system, the clog dropped down into the lower basement portion of the line and proceeded to back up and clog both air conditioner system drains. The lower basement furnace blower unit was half filled with water. The AC downstairs outside condensing unit was not working. I mopped up water and drained water out of the blower unit, and left the fan running to dry everything out. The carpet (finished basement) was wet in a 3ft by 12ft section. Wall sheetrock and baseboard were damaged.
4. When I called them the next morning, to make a long story short, they would not take any responsiblity for the results of their work, claiming we should have contacted them when we saw water, and that the drain stop could have been caused by something other than the technician's visit. Some coincidence, eh? When we said they need to get the downstairs unit running again as it stopped because of the technician's work, they said they would only come if we paid them for a service visit.
5. We will stop payment on the credit card charge, and hire another company to get the downstairs system back up and running, and take FW Harris to court to recover the damages their technician caused.

Heat was not working on Sunday afternoon. Called for emergency service and spoke to live person. Was called back by service guy within 10 minutes. He arrived within an hour of me placing call and quickly diagnosed problem. he had the part with him and was able to fix on the spot. It was nice and warm in my house again and the price was less than I expected.

Had a problem with my heat and was refered to FW Harris from a neighbor. Called and spoke with a nice lady on the phone that booked my call and was told the tech would be there between 10-12. Tech showed up at 10:30am to check my furnace and found a bad gas valve. He gave me a fair price and had the part on the truck. My heat was back up and running and has worked fine for 3 weeks now. I would recommend them highly!!!

We called FW Harris to look into the AC Unit in July 2010, the system was not cooling, They were able to come out immediately and they were able to get the system cooling within an hour. I was very impressed with service and cost was very reasonable.

If you want to be lied to or scammed call this company. Otherwise do not use this company for anything. I called them for a service call no one ever showed up, I called and they finally sent a tech he tried charging me $650 to clean my furnace. All i can say is do not use this company.

I called Monday for someone to fix my AC. The said they would be here on Thursday and that the service call would cost $75, which would be applied to the total cost of the repair. Technician never arrived, so I called and they sent someone. He told me the transformer was bad and that it would cost $170 replace, which I thought was high, but agreed to it. The final bill came out to $605! What! The $40 transformer now cost me $460, and the $75 service call was now $95 and it was in addition to everything else. I told him no way! He took the new transformer out by cutting all the connecting wires. These guys are crooks!

I needed a kitchen faucet replaced and they charged $550 for a faucet that costs $150 at Lowes or Home Depot. This equates to $400 for a 30 minute labor job. I called the company to discuss this outrageous price and was promised a call back but never received one. I also called the company and left two messages on voicemail but no return call. I am active duty military and rent the house. They took advantage of the fact that I was not in the immediate area and wanted to get the faucet fixed quickly. I also will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
