Fareway stores are noted for there small size and limited selection. They are also noteworthy for the fact that they are closed after 9PM and on Sundays. I would scarcely consider this customer service. It really doesn't matter, though, because the Fareway store in Jefferson is the only grocery store left in the ENTIRE county!.

I've been shopping Fareway for many years, and after school we'd go down to Fareway to shop. The old Fareway in Jefferson was very small but very busy! The other grocery town in Jefferson was a SuperValu in which I was previously employed there, and they do not know the meaning of customer service, or employee treatment. I always loved shopping at this Fareway and it brings back lots of memories for me, me knowing all the people that worked there and they knew me and my family. The new Fareway opened on my 19th birthday October 15, 2003. It was a brand new efficient store with big aisles, fresh produce, and more items than ever! Within two months, SuperValu closed, and I loved that! I would of loved to see that store burn to the ground. I hated working there. But everyone is friendly and the people I went to High School with are still there! Their meat is always fresh and have live assistance! I recommend this store to everyone that shops for groceries in the Jefferson area!

PROS: Big Store, Automatic Doors, Clean, Reasonable Prices.
CONS: Great store, but the location is too far from the heart of the city.
