I've come to this store several times since my first hydroponics project a few years ago. While the prices did seem a little high compared to online sites, I still drive 20 minutes to support this small business and it's extremely helpful

Dear Former Customer,

As the owner of Harvest Moon I have a few things to say about the things written in the negative comment above. I can't deny my store is a bit of a mess. We have been working on that and other issues, however we have ALOT of products in stock and it will always be a work in progress.

The second issue: Our service. I have recently let an employee go who was the problem. I only wish I had heard of this problem sooner or been given the opportunity to smooth it over with you or anyone else who had a problem with him. I and the rest opf my staff consider ourselves more teachers than salespeople. Where I and the other staff here are concerned we don't care what level you come to us at. We will do what we can to help. If we don't know..we will SAY we don't know the answer rather than give you bad info. I actually learn alot from our customers. I cherish them. Without them we will not be around long.
The third issue...our prices
We have been going around the store and remarking the things that are over priced. I will admit there are some things that were out of hand. I can personally admit when I have been wrong. I am willing to compete as much as I can with the other stores in the area whenever and however I can.
I may never be able to earn you or your friends business back but I am so unhappy that you had such a poor experience here. I realize that first impressions last forever but if I could change yours I would in a second. We do have many satisfied people who get very valuable help here, who love our selection and credit our service as some of the best in the business. Its the unsatisfied people who concern me the most and will make us into a better store than we were before.

Come back and indroduce yourself and help me fix this. If not...thanks for helping to make us a better store for the next possible new customers.

To begin, the store is a complete MESS. Things strewn about, mislabeled or unlabeled prices on objects. The staff, or the one my friends & I have seen before is arrogant, unhelpful, unknowledgeable & rude. Acts like you are bothering him when you are there to support the business. Their prices are awful; first, because they are NOT what is listed on their website, & second, because they are up to DOUBLE what they should be. Example: for a small bottle of Mother Earth Super Tea, they charge $39.95, not $19.95 as it should be & is EVERYWHERE else that sells it. This is the same trend for ALL of their products.
I am NEVER going back to this embarrassing scam job of a store. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, do yourself, your stress level & your WALLET a favor & go to WORMSWAY in Sutton, MA. For the record, I am 100% NOT an employee there, nor am I in ANYWAY affiliated with them, I am simply a long term customer who foolishly took the advice of a friend to tried the store that was a shorter drive from my house. NEVER AGAIN. By going to HarvestMoon, I paid TWICE what I would have if I had gone to wormsway, & I got treated extremely poorly in the process. I am not the only person who has had very negative encounters with the skinny kid working there. Very rude & arrogant. Go to wormsway, where the prices are reasonable & AS LISTED on line, & the staff are NICE & HELPFUL. Absolutely the worst experience in any hydroponics store I have ever been to., & I have been to many. It was bad enough for me to write my FIRST review of ANY kind in my entire life. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
