We had the unfortunate experience to use Ralph & his plumbing company in May 2007. We were redoing our kitchen and the kitchen placed used him. He did a very small job at our house and was there for about an hour. He never gave a price until after (he had been low balling the kitchen place on previous jobs, which is why the kitchen place thought he was a reasonable, good plumber) and gave us a price on other work we needed. He was extremely high on everything, so we got another reputable company to do the other more extensive work for of the price.
A month later when he gave the kitchen place the price for the job, he said he was there for 3 hours, which he wasnt and wanted a lot of money for doing very little, plus the fact that he said he was there for longer than he was. We had asked the other company to give us a price on what he would have charged for the work he did, the price would have been a 1/3 of Ralphs. Needless to say we would never recommend these overpriced plumbers, the kitchen place would never use them again. They are charging us for time they werent there, which is absurd!
I did call the plumber, but I just got lies and he basically told me he could charge me anything he wanted and that my small job means nothing to him anyway, and he learnt his lesson (not sure what lesson that is to not rip people off??).
Never would I recommend them!
