We wanted to sell our computer decided to take it to Computer Village for them to make us an offer. My husband told them that it had a hard-drive problem when he took it in. The person told my husband to leave it with him and come back in 1 hour. After coming back, they offered us $140 for the system, which included, the computer tower and it's components, monitor, keyboard and mouse. They wrote us a check and we cashed the check the same day. A week later, they call our home and leave us a message stating that they've found a problem with the hard-drive and requested that we pay them $35!!!!! Now, they were well aware of the problem when they made us an offer and had nerve to ask us for a refund. We ended up paying them the money only because they had our hard-drive and there was no telling what personal information was stored on it. The $35 was peice of mind knowing that they didn't have our pervious computer history.

Their business is unprofessional. They could have just as easy took a business loss and wrote it off, but instead they were worried about a measly $35.
