I had Window World install all new windows in my house and replace a door with a window without incident. However then I ordered gutters and there was a problem. Our salesman said the hangers would not show after installation. Then one day, without announcement, a contractor showed up and installed the gutters by screwing the hangers directly through the shingles. Again, having past experience with Window World, I thought something would be done to remedy the problem as I totally did not expect to have the ugly hangers showing and also comprising the integrity of the shingles. On top of that, the salesman and I agreed the contractor would leave the old gutters for me to scrap and they were taken also. Over the course of the past year, I talked to our salesman, the owner, the service department, and the contractor and all to no avail. At this point, I am just ignored by the company and still have an outstanding balance due. What's next... insurance claims, lawsuits, court appearances? If you are considering this company, I recommend praying nothing goes wrong.

Hello, my name is Stephen George. I feel obligated, and partly ashamed I must write this. Of the 4.5 years I have been a sales representative of the great company of Window World, and of the roughly 5000 homes I have been honored enough to of been in in regards to homeowners wanting information on the quality of the company, and window, only once have I been in such an unfriendly environment. I take pride and integrity in my personal life and as well as my job as a representative. I also try my best to incorporate as much professionalism as humanly possible. i first would like to say I apologize for the way you feel. After such a great first encounter which resulted in the purchase of Window Worlds windows, I was shocked the second visit I made to try and understand what you folks were talking of. After immediately being demeaned and vulgurly yelled at, I took not much offence as 3 years in the US Army taught me. I wanted to understand the problem. Im sorry you folks felt more caulking could have been applied only because it was an easy fix. As i have read on has been completed. What I am ashamed of is how angry you were at me. After thousands upon thousands of friendships Ive made by meeting homeowners in their homes for the reason of greater energy efficiency at great pricing, I pride myself in pleasing Everyone. I understood that day how upset you were with me personally and I am very sorry for that. Obviously there was something I did that you didnt like and Im very emphathetic in this situation for ive certainly been there with people. And realizing after the 2nd or 3rd curse word towards myself and other employees of the company, I found it best to remove myself from your home. I want to reiterate how passionate I am about social relationships as well as the incredible value Window World gives many many communities. Please except my apologies for in which whatever reason it was that made you so mad at me. I honeslty just wanted to help and realized how angered you were by your curse words and tone. I am happy to see you were happy with the end result and feel terrible you feel this way about me. I take great pride in my job, and the way I approach. I believe 100% in friendliness, proffesionalism, and being as knowledgeable as possible. I realize through the thousands of friendships Ive made from meeting homeowners that I am well on my way. But There is certainly always room for improvement. Im glad you see the value in your windows and sincerely God Bless.

Had 4 windows installed 8/19/10, they didn't caulk the whole window on the outside, installed one with a torn screen, salesman (Stephen) made lite of the situation of the foam insulation NOT filling the entire window opening (gaps at the corners & at the bottom of EACH window), with still having 5 more windows to install, this salesman didn't care if he lost our business or if we warned people against dealing with WW. Also the salesman was pointing out about the warranty and how great it is, (wow) and how the warranty is susposed to take care of bad installations !! Seriously ! I don't think the warranty is meant for THAT. I mean really, shouldn't the installation be done right the first time ??? This salesman was so cocky and smug at the whole situation (he was litterly laughing in our face) so disgusted @ wasting $800 we had enough and asked him to leave.

UPDATE-Nov 4th,2010, After speaking with the owner (Chad) and emailing corp, we agreed to have WW come back to install the remaining 5 windows, THIS one installer (Steve, not the salesman) did a wonderful job, HE redeemed WW with his attention to detail. He did such a nice job we had WW come back a 3rd time to give us an estimate on replacing our 2 'brady bunch' windows. After speaking with other people, we requested salesman Brian C. as we would NOT consider the orginal salesman Stephen. Brian was knowledgable in the products, not pushy, and def more 'people friendly'.

SADLY, the quote we received from Brian was slightly higher then Lowes, And with the holidays right around the corner, we opted to wait till after the holidays. However, when we ARE ready to do these last 2 windows, we will have WW again, although we will special request the installer Steve so we know the job will be done RIGHT.

Will update this review again when the time comes. Thanks Steve for a job well done. And Brian, we will be calling you after the holidays for sure. And Chad, thank you for standing behind your windows, not just ON them. LOL

We had a problem shortly after the installation, but once we got on the same page everything was done to an even better standard than I had even anticipated. The owner of the local Window World (Chad) actually came to the house and inspected the work, and to make sure of my satisfaction. I couldn't be more pleased.

MY HUSBAND AND I WERE LOOKING TO REPLACE SOME WINDOWS IN THE UPPER PART OF OUR HOME AFTER SOME REPAIR WORKWAS FINISHED . WE CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE. THEIR PRICES WERE A LOT BETTER THAN THE OTHER WINDOW DEALERS IN THIS AREA. THEY INSTALLEDTHE WINDOWS IN ONE DAY. THE WINDOWS ARE THE NEXT GRADE UP TO WHAT WE WANTED . THEY DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB FOR US AND WE WERE WELL PLEASED.
