Aspen dental is definitly a scam. I went there to get my tooth examined because I had had a cavity filled years ago by a previous dentist but it was now giving me problems. So i go to Aspen and they advise me that i would need a root canal and crown put on which would cost me $1500 dollars!! I decided to get a second opinion, so i went to another dental practice and they advised me all i needed was my filling repair which only costed me 68 bucks! I'm sooo glad i got a second opinion. Aspen dental is the car salesmen of dentistry

Sad to say, I would never recommend any of the Aspen Dental facilities even to my worst enemies. I recently changed to Aspen when my older Dentist retired. I was told that the one and only crown in my mouth was not put on properly. I agreed to have the "doctor" take off the crown. When it was removed, I was told the tooth below was decayed and needed extraction. The extraction was scheduled for 2 weeks. The night of the crown removal, I began to experience pain in the lower left jaw. By the following day, the pain increased. I tried to reach the Aspen office that I went to but found out that they had lost power and could not take my call. I then began calling their emergency phone serivce. In short, it took 5 hours for an operator to call me back because they were unable to reach my doctor. When they finally did, it was 9pm at night--of course, after the pharmacies have all closed. I went through the entire weekend in pain. By Monday, I could not tolerate it any more. I called the office and asked to speak with the doctor or at least to be seen immediatey. Again, no call from the doctor. She had one of her staff tell me that they were going to push up my extraction date for Wednesday, but this was still three days away and I was in horrible pain that travelled to my left ear. By the following morning, I was reduced to tears. I drove myself to their office, demanding to close out my account with them because of the lack of care and service. The doctor came in when she heard me raising my voice. She told me that it took a long time to call the emergency service because "her phone died." UHG!!! She would have been better off lying to me. And, this begs the question--if the emergency service could not get ahold of the doctor, why did they not call another doctor? When I needed them the most, they were not there for me. I have now since gone to another dentist who is taking good care of me. And, the new dentist is not charging me anything close to what Aspen wanted to charge me. I also think that there is some kind of price increasing scam that they put over on their patients for services that are not necessary. Be VERY CAREFUL IF YOU SEE THEM, AND HOLD ON TO YOUR WALLETS! For me, I will never go back, nor will I even recommend them to anyone.

I went in for what was advertised as a free exam. They told me I had to have several teeth removed even though I had no pain and no cavities. They tried to sell me a $150 toothbrus - by sneaking it into my bill. They are snake oil sales - not dentists.

After my free visit - I got a $267 bill in the mail. They will not see that money and I am on my way to file a complaint to the attorney general.

This was the worst dental experience ever! I purchased the best dentures and when they didnt work, they tried to get more money by wanting me to get implants! Unreal! They knew they couldnt fix the problem without making me a new set on the top and treated me like a child to make themselves look good. 5 Yr. Warranty? HA! NOT TRUE!
Worst help ever in the back, person named Lisa is awful and rude! Should not be working there. Plain and simple RUDE, reciting rules and regulations and made me feel awful and left crying instead of smiling! NEVER AGAIN!
I will be turning this company in to BBB and tell my family and friends to please not go there. They are losing Aspen future business!

Stay Away from this place!
Aspen Dental is only concerned about making money, and NOT the patient.
The salesperson will attempt to razzle, dazzle, and lure the patient with her inappropriate dress attire; before giving the prospective patient an extensive "laundry list" of things that "they believe" need to be done with your teeth; which will normally include everything from fillings, crowns, root-canals, and complete teeth makeovers...adding up to thousands of dollars!!!
It's highly evident that she is only thinking of her commission.
The receptionist Melissa gave her clinical diagnosis/opinion over the phone with respect to the "root" problems within my mouth! Unreal!!!
See the below link (RipOffReport.com) from many customers around the Country who have been ripped off by this company:

I have already filed a complaint with the PA Attorney General at: http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/complaints.aspx?id=451

I suggest that others do the same.

Although the dentist was wonderful, the receptionist, assistant ladies and the manager were all very rude. The manager, Lisa, was very pushy and talked about herself a lot. She seemed like the only thing she was interested in was my money, and not my teeth. I will never go back because of her.
