As an avid spa enthusiast, Serenity definitely did it for me. However, with no sign on BPT avenue, it was somehwat difficult to find. But, the receptionist was more than willing to guide me down BPT avenue until I safely reached their parking lot. I thought it was somewhat strange that the office building I was staring at had a spa, but I was quite surprised when I walked into Serenity and it was quiet and extremely relaxing. They may have changed their musical tastes since the previous reviewers have been in because I heard classical music in the waiting room and a nature's sounds cd playing during my services. First I had a hot stone massage which I enjoyed more than any other hot stone session I have had in the past. It was about an hour and a half and I felt wonderful afterwards. Following my massage I had a facial (I believe the aesthetician's name was Keri) which I found to be equally as great as the hot stone massage. She knew a lot about the skincare line they use and was able to help out my very dry skin.

The entire staff, even those who I did not have services with, were very friendly and made sure that I had everything that I needed. If you're ever in need of spa services, I definitely recommend going to Serenity. This was a great spa with reasonable prices & a good atmosphere.

Rosa at Serenity has become my benchmark by which to measure all other massage therapists! She takes the time to ask what I need and then tailors the treatment to perfection. I am completely relaxed and de-stressed after each appointment with her. The atmosphere is professional and calming. Consider me a full-fledged Rosa and Serenity groupie!

I was very disappointed with this "spa". Like other reviews said, it was not a relaxing spa setting, but rather like walking into a doctor's office. There was no relaxation room, no slippers, no robe, no lockers, showers, etc. They were playing Top 40 music which should have been a sign to leave right then. If you've never had a massage at a real spa, you may like this place because you have nothing to compare it to. Seasoned spa goers beware. I had the hot rock massage which I have had before at Dermaclinic in Westport, CT. I HIGHLY recommend that spa. They offer much much more in the way of pampering, and the prices are comparable. Anyway, the massage was more fiddling with placement of rocks on my body and very very little actual massage. I could hear people outside the room and in the hall talking. I could hear the washing machine agitating. Quite frankly, it was the worst spa/massage experience I have ever had and I would never go back. On the way home I stopped up the street at "Simply Body" and I was so disappointed I hadn't gone there. Immediatley upon entering, I found the atmosphere was serene and the music calming. They have a relaxation room and offer clients robes, slippers, lockers and showers. The massage rooms are blocked off in a separate hallway from the main entrance to ensure quiet. Next time I will go there or back to Dermaclinic. Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your hard earned money.

Although it is a little difficult to find because it is in an office building, when I called for directions I knew right away that the staff was extremely friendly. Upon arrival I was greeted, and I was then offered tea, coffee, water, or hot chocolate. Serenity had a clean waiting room and nail area, as well as bathroom and massage rooms. I treated myself to a day package which lasted about five hours. I enjoyed a massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, and even a snack! The staff was helpful and explained fully the other services that they offer. This was one of the best afternoons I have ever had, and I will definitely be back for more!

The spa is difficult to find and in an office building which does seem like a doctor's office. It was nice and the service was OK. I made an appt for a facial and it was like they don't have regular staffing so it was not smooth. Although it was OK I would not rush back, there is much better out there! They just don't have it together yet.

PROS: they are trying
CONS: location

The experience I had at Serenity is what I have received at more exclusive spa but without the price. From the warm greeting I received upon my arrival, to the knowledgeable staff, my massage was extremely relaxing. My therapist really listened to me and concentrated on my problem areas, which was a pleasant surprise. The massage was extremely relaxing as was my facial. The attentiveness of the staff completed the whole package. Serenity means tranquil and they really live up to their name by ensuring your experience is serene. Prior to leaving I made my next appointment and I can?t wait to go back.

PROS: Staff, Atmosphere, Professionalism
CONS: None

I enjoyed my trip to Serenity. I only had a Spa Manicure, so I can't comment on massage or anything, but overall I found it to be a pretty good place.

I agree with the reviewer that said it seems more like a doctor's office than a spa...the building its in and the decor don't make you feel like your in a place of relaxation...neither does the form you fill out when you walk in. Also, I dont know if I went at a bad time, but they were definitely not playing peaceful music...more like Star 99.9 or something!

Despite those 2 things, I LOVED my manicure. The girl was so nice and very efficient and particular about the way it came out. It lasted for about a week...which is unheard of for me! Although it was slightly expensive ($30 for a manicure with a parrafin treatment), it was worth it. My only disapointment with it was that they use primarily Finger Paints polish...they have no OPI and very few Essie shades to chose from.

However, I would definitely go back next time I really want to treat my hands.

PROS: great manicures/staff
CONS: ambiance & pricing

This spa is beautiful and you will feel your tensions melt away the minute you walk through the door. Soothing music is playing and the smells are wonderful! Almost like a mixture of lavender and mulberry. The staff is great and will offer you a variety of different packages. I definately recommend the massages that they offer. A little pricey.
