First off, I would've given this place 3.5 stars if that was an option. It was more than "satisfactory", but not "very good". Its basically the only sit-down Mexican restaurant in Fairfield, so if you live there it is nice and close.
The atmosphere is niceits on the smaller side, but quiet and wasnt real crowded when I went. The service was good, as was the food. However, I though the menu did not have very many choices for a Mexican restaurant. Most of the menu items were non-typical Mexican food dishes (which in itself is not badjust not what I was expecting). Also, I felt that it was too pricey for what it was. The portions size was adequate, but I definitely did not leave stuffed. For the price I wouldve expected more food on my plate.
Overall, Coyote Flaco is just average. Theres definitely better Mexican out there, though.
