My pets have gone to this clinic for almost two years now. This clinic is a sister clinic to the Cold Spring and St. Joseph Clinics. I have visited all clinics and they are all great. My poodle loves to come here because they take their time with her, she is a little shy at first and doesn't like her nails clipped. But both the staff and the Doctors treat her like the princess she is. My schnauzer is only 8 months and I have not had a puppy before (my poodle was 3 when we adopted her) the staff was so helpful in teaching me about vaccines and neutering. Love this clinic will be coming here for all of my pets lifetime health needs.

A brief history of our clinics, established in 1951 by Dr. Stewart Ellis, the cold spring veterinary clinic provides surgical, and medical care for both small and large animals. During the past 60 years of the clinics existence, it has grown into an 11 veterinarian clinic. Currently, the clinic maintains four small animal doctors, five large animal doctors, and two mixed animal doctors. In addition, a support staff of 40 caring individuals is a part of the clinic family. Both the rural and urban greater ST. Cloud area are served by the clinics. The Cold Spring veterinary clinic is located on 111 S Red River Ave and was built in 1972. The original clinic was located where the red river inn stands today. Services provided at today's location include: small animal surgery and a variety of other medical services which are supplemented by a host of veterinary products. In 1985, construction of the St. Joseph veterinary clinic was completed. This office is located at 809 County Road 75 East. Originally, the clinic was built to meet the growing needs of small animal care. In 2000, an addition was built to the standing structure so as to provide a variety of services to our equine clientele. In 1994, the Paynesville clinic was purchased from Dr. Todd Johnson located at 303 Koronis Avenue. The building was renovated so as to include both small and large animal services. In 2004, the St. Joseph veterinary clinic serving the needs of our small animal clientele relocated to 1722 Minnesota Street East. By relocating, this enabled us to offer a wider range of services and surgical procedures. Our doctors and staff at each location continually strive to educate themselves so as to provide the most modern and specialized care available.
