This sales rep, or whoever he was, was unbelievably childish!
I emailed someone from this company, Nate, about a particular car to see if it was still available.
It wasn't. But, I had planned ahead in that email and listed out what I was looking for, a late 60's - early 70's sedan, a good daily driver in restorable condition. I even made friendly conversation about the car my wife will be buying soon. Basically, I needed a good, solid second car that I would be able to restore later.
Nate emailed me back and simply said the car was no longer available, making no attempt to suggest anything else form his inventory. I emailed back and mentioned this sarcastically, and again, instead of talking cars he ripped on me personally. Maybe I shouldn't have been sarcastic, but I honestly didn't think I'd be working with a 12 year-old.
6 emails later, after several opportunities to simply give up trying to prove me worng (or whatever he was trying to do) and talk cars, he continued to make fun of me.
All I want to do is buy a classic car, and this guys was too full of himself to just talk cars with me instead of bicker like a 12 year-old over inconsequential details about the not-quite-perfect wording in my initial email.
His final email to me, after I suggested he stop emailing me back if he's only going to mock me, was "Ha..."
So, I have no idea how his customer service is, he helped me decide to not worry about ever being a customer.
I hope this sales tactic is only a diversion from how he usually tries to gain customers.
