Decent consignment  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

You can always find something here, but most of the stuff is not that special. The place also has a distinctively funky smell, though everything seems clean. If you are trying to consign items don't take it personally when then reject your stuff, it's not a reflection on you....in fact expect it, they are a little cut throat sometimes.

Love this place  5 Star Rating - World class

There are some wicked finds to be had in this shop. Every day you will find something new, come to think of it while you are there, staff are putting out new things.

Not the cheapests place, not like a normal thrift store but the prices are still great for what you are getting.

Always you will find many name brands there, if you are a name brand lover.

Trendy consignment shop  4 Star Rating - Very good

I just went into this consignment shop for the first time over the weekend--I believe it's relatively new (at least the one here), and is right near the Green Street consignment shop on Chestnut. I thought there was a higher hit rate of interesting clothes at Buffalo Exchange than I've seen at Green Street, but I don't know if that's because it just opened--we'll see how it does as time goes by. Along with your standard Gap and Express brands, I also spotted Helmut Lang (a coat for $110), Armani Exchange (sweater for $25), Michael by Michael Kors, and Marc Jacobs (pants for $35 that alas did not fit me), Diesel and Citizens of Humanity jeans for $25-35. Other brands will be less (e.g. H&M pants were about $12). They also had several racks of very cute T-shirts and skirts. So it's looks like it can be a great place to get high-end brands for less, if you don't mind it being used! But of course, prices are not as dirt-cheap as your average thrift store, but it depends on what you're looking for. The dressing rooms were nice, and I thought the staff was friendly. They have a 5-day return policy (store credit only).

PROS: Some great finds!
CONS: More pricey than a thrift shop
