I was at Mr. Gyros on Sunday, and tried there Chicago Hot Dog, It was the best Chicago Style I have ever had, every thing was up to the standard of a real Chicago Style Dog, filled with nice size Beef Dog with carefully cut tomato and chopped cucumber and onion and mustard on the Dog it self and sport papers and a spear pickle, on the side, I wish I could take a picture of it but any ways.. I recommend this place for any one who likes to have a nice Chicago Style Hot Dog along with Milwaukee's best Beer at this place. Next time i will try there Gyros also. I wrote the same review on Google & Yahoo also, I feel it is worth writing about this restaurant. Thanks Mr. Gyros

Hi! I was at Mr. Gyro's yesterday (Sunday) to have some gyros at around 12:00 PM it was the best experience I ever had a small restaurant, which makes me write this review about them. First the Lamb meat was just super along with the tzatziki sauce, then there service was just the best. It was Brother and Sister operation, they were both very well coordinated and organized, there was about 20 to 30 people and every one was getting full attention, I was surprised that how are they doing it and then we enjoy foot Ball game on 65 inch TV, that was another great thing they had, free sodas for the people who were wearing Packer T-Shirts, man oh man it was just like a fun place to hang out. I will defiantly go back and claim for my free soda. I highly recommend this place and give them 5 Stars. Keep up guys, West Allis is proud on you.

This little joint is cute, clean, and what's right with Milwaukee.

Cute decor, details like nifty plates, napkin dispensers, and garnish with plates of food make this a hidden gem.

It is obvious to all that the owner cares about the food he cooks here. Little details aren't missed, and you can engage him in a long culinary conversation.

The fries are great, they use Vienna Beef hot dogs, and have .99 Sunday specials to rival nearby Sammy's.

A big-screen TV offers an opportunity for Friday night Movie Nights at Mr Gyros, and it seems to have a loyal customer base which is growing--a great sign.

Don't let the location or parking situation fool you. Mr. Gyros is a quaint little cafe with a lot of class.

Being attached to a gas station is normally a poor indication for a restaurant, but we recently enjoyed a very pleasant lunch at this little cafe.

They serve a variety of gyros-stand items, including burgers, hot dogs, brats, and of course gyros, with a variety of other somewhat more unusual things on the menu as well. The food was very good, and they were very friendly. Being right by the Union Pacific rail bridge, I'm thinking it might be a fun place to come in the summer and sit outside for an hour or two with kids. They seemed very kid-friendly, and had boxed crayons and paper for kids, very unusual for a small place.

They lose one star for the absolutely horrifying parking situation, which might require you to walk past a cramped set of gas station pumps in order to park, and they were a bit skimpy on the gyros meat. This wouldn't prevent me from going back, not by a long shot, but it's worth mentioning.
