I'd like to thank Daniel Smith for being a great salesman and a phenomenal person. As promised when I walked into the front doors, Daniel stayed with me every step of the way. He made sure my family and I were comfortable, he answered all of our questions, and treated us with respect and kindness. I had gone to other dealerships in search of a vehicle but was not welcomed or treated in such a friendly and inviting manner. Gus Grano (finance specialist), even feeling slightly under the weather, was amazing. He worked until he found the best financial options for me. In the end, I brought home my Honda Civic. I am forever grateful to the staff at Primer Toyota Scion and a special appreciation for Daniel and Gus. You all have renewed my faith in my car buying experience. I won't go to anyone else and I will send all my friends and family your way. :)
Thanks

HORRIBLE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! RUDE WITH BAD CARS! NOT SINCERE AND CAN"T BE TRUSTED! They were rude they try to take advantage and they provide crappy cars at inflated prices. They had my new car in their garage more than I did. The thing needed a steering column replaced MULTIPLE TIMES in a matter of a month and a half. In 2 months I had to borrow 2 lot cars, 2 rental cars, and eventually they traded me out of the Saturn for a Pathfinder so I PURCHASED 2 CARS. The people were snotty, had no empathy or understanding. I was told I am a "YOUNG, SINGLE, WOMAN" I should have purchased a new car. That I am not going to find a car without issues for $10,000. I said I expect the thing not to start when I have had it for 3 days. When you say you are going to fix something then I expect it to be fixed. I am trying to figure out how they stay in business. They treat you like an idiot when you tell them something is wrong. I can tell you something isnt working properly if something fell off the car, if the lights dont turn on, if the freaking thing doesnt start. Dont alienate your customers and expect business back. My mistake to go to a car dealer for a car that works properly and is safe oops! I am happy to warn everyone STAY AWAY!

Business Response:

Our company is happy to serve your vehicle needs professionally. Both of the vehicles you chose to purchase were sold without a warranty of any kind. They were both disclosed as “AS-IS” at risk sales. Although there was no warranty provided, promised or agreed to at the time of purchase Premier Toyota extended our “Goodwill” policy to you. The electrical issues that surfaced in the Saturn were not covered by any warranty but Premier attempted to remedy them nonetheless. When it was determined that the issues were insurmountable we offered to trade vehicles with you on quite favorable terms with no additional costs. You chose the Nissan in exchange of the Saturn. This vehicle was also disclosed to you as an “AS – IS” at risk sale. No purchase decision made by you was covered by any type of warranty or promise. Despite that fact, Premier Toyota has attempted to serve you in goodwill and good faith with no additional costs for repair efforts that surfaced after you purchased the vehicles. I am aware of the numerous posts that you have placed online. Regrettably the terms of your sale are not announced in the posts. Premier Toyota is proud to offer a wide range of pre-owned vehicles with significant to zero warranty coverage. If you prefer to purchase a new vehicle with comprehensive warranty and merchantability coverage I am happy to help you. If you choose this previously offered direction I will support you with very favorable terms and good faith. Again, I apologize that we have not been able to satisfy your expectations. I am proud of the vehicles we sell and service with a full range of warranty and merchantability to serve all customers needs and requests. Best Regards, Terry Johnson - GSM

My expereience with Premier Toyota was extremely frustrating. I have been shopping around for weeks trying to find the best deal on a vehicle as most do when I came acrossed a Ford Focus for 12900 on edmunds that was at Premier Toyota. The dealership offered a chat feature which I used to speak with a sales associate initially and shortly after we spoke by phone. Seems another individual was thinking of purchasing the vehicle and I waited to hear the outcome. A few minutes later the sales associate called me back and told me that the vehicle was still available and I said thanks and that I was contimplating on driving up to see it the next day and got Premier Toyota's hours because it would be a saturday and I live about an hour and a half away. The next morning I continued to think about the vehicle and came to the conclusion in the early afternoon that it would be worth my time to go check it out. I again viewed the vehicle online (on the dealerships site) before I left and it was still advertised on the lot for sale. I decided to text the sales associate that I was heading to the dealership because I figured the associate may be busy and I did not want to interupt. When I arrived at the dealership, after my hour and a half drive, my girlfriend and myself walked around the lot for a little while patiently waiting on the associate I had spoken with. The car that was advertised was no longer on the lot. I figured it must have been sold and I had missed out but when the sales person came out and spoke to me I received an apology because apparently the dealership had decided to ship the car to auction just that morning. The sales person said ,I wish you had called and I'm really sorry and I explained I had sent a text. I was then informed ,as the case may be, the dealership or that number does not receive text messages. I was told that I said I would call before arriving and that things like this happen. It was explained to me that the car could have been sold before I arrived and i explained I would have understood that. What I don't understand is this, why was I not told the previous day that the vehicle would be going to auction in the morning?( I was told of the person that was interested in it that day) I would imagine there is someone that knows that information and could relay it to sales people in a meeting , by email or etc. I am not certain why the vehicle was still advertised as for sale the same day online and a couple days thereafter. I see my mistake in not calling, but other than a sorry and informing me that I could pay a deposit if I absolutely wanted the vehicle I had not PHYSICALLY seen and in return they would ship it back to the dealership. I guess so I could drive back up again after being upset and hope it was everything I saw online. I do not fault the sales person in this but neither do I fault myself. My issue is with the fact the small piece of information about the plan for the vehicle to be shipped to auction the next day was information never provided to me. Rather I took a large portion out of my weekend to travel to a dealership for a vehicle that was not there. I sincerely hope that this is addressed and does not happen to another customer. I wont be taking my chances again.

I had been looking to purchase a newer used vehicle for quite some time. My vehicle one morning decided to not start, of course on a day that my wife had to work. I began looking at some of the links that I bookmarked and became frustrated due to all of the good deals being at shady looking, online only, or repo-auction dealers. After reviewing online prices from numerous websites I found that this dealership had the best deal for a low mileage Yaris (with all of the options I wanted, clean Carfax, $1700 below NADA, and Toyota certified). I started planning the trip to the dealership for the weekend because my wife worked the rest of the week. My sales lady Jenny saw that I was in a bind with being two and a half hours away, and needing transportation to work, she offered to have someone come pick me up that day. I was completely astonished that they would drive to come get me from that distance. I understand that most would say that they did it just to make a sale. For me, it was a life-saver. Once I made it to the dealership to see the car in perfect condition as described, Jenny showed me some of the Yaris specific functions so that I would have no trouble operating the car on my trip home. I worked Dave who helped me decide my finance term, and options. He was very friendly and worked out very request that I had.

Pricing was very straight-forward too. Only the documentary fee (which I see most dealers charge) had me wondering. But I see it as a charge for the full interior and exterior detailing, new tires, wiper blades, oil change, 160 point certification and full tank of gasoline charge. Talk about a steal on my part!

After having the vehicle for roughly two weeks, I have no regrets purchasing my car from Premier Toyota. I have also received a few follow up emails from Jenny to make sure everything was still great with my car.

Thanks Again,
A Happy Customer in MI

Jennifer Brockway's customer service and attention to her customer's needs is A+. She is never pushy and listens well to her customers.

The service department is great. I came in with a flat tire close to the end of their service day on a busy Sat, and the car was ready in an hour. They are always helpful and up front with all repairs needed on the car.

Overall, I will continue to take my car to Premier, recommend them to people I know, and wouldn't think of buying a car from anywhere else.

Thanks for your PREMIER Auto Butler coating service! My xB looks beautiful and even FEELS great to the touch, and the free interior cleaning was above and beyond what I expected as a compensation for our communication problems on my Auto Butler appt. from a few weeks earlier. Your staff is so courteous, polite, and efficient that it is like a breath of fresh air! I love the coffee, lounge, fireplace, and HDTV to pass the wait time. I feel right at home every time I come to Premier Toyota for service. You have the edge by a wide margin over Metro Toyota in Customer Service in every area. It is well worth driving the extra distance to Amherst to deal with such professional, friendly people.

Thanks,

JL

I used to be a loyal Toyota owner until my experience at this dealership. I own both a 2004 Toyota Sienna XLE Limited and a 1999 Toyota Corolla CE.
Unfortunately, Premier Toyota/Scion is absolutely the worst dealer I've ever dealt with in my life! I've bought many cars in my life, and this is the worst dealership by an astronomical margin. The dealer wouldn't negotiate below the retail price and wasted six hours of my time. Major Harrison, the Gen. Manager, was nothing but a bold face liar. When challenged, he wouldn't back up his words by putting them in writing on the sales contract. Dan Acres, the sales mgr., acted like he was doing me a favor by charging me the full retail price of the car. He stated that I was lucky to be paying retail. I would have normally walked away but Brian Romell was a great kid, salesman. I really wanted to go through with the sale because of Brian alone. He's a great and helpful sales guy, and I would hope that he could find work with another respectable dealership. In the end, I walked out because Brian incorrectly promised me a 50 dollar credit for my trade-in car and Dan refused honor it. Fifty dollars! FIFTY DOLLARS! Instead of siding with the customer since it was their salesman's (Brian's) mistake, Dan absolutely refused to provide me the credit and lost this sale (of which I was going to pay the full retail price). This dealership exemplifies greed, arrogance, and horrific customer service. I strongly suggest you find another dealer that doesn't charge more than 4-5% over dealer invoice (not MSRP). In this case, Premier Toyota, wouldn't even negotiate 1% below MSRP. They acted very unreasonable and just plain greedy. For that, they don't deserve anyone's business. Worst of all, as I was getting ready to exit the dealership; the general manager, Major Harrison, shouted that he didn't care to do business with jerks like me. This was on the showroom floor in front of other customers. Really classy! This is the primary reason I'm so adamant about writing this review. No one should be treated like this. I was very professional with all of them at every moment and as such would have expected nothing less in return. But instead, Major turned to name calling and unnecessary defamation.
The next day, I went to Jack Matia Honda in Elyria and got a great deal! In one hour, I had a negotiated for a great car at an outstanding price. With Honda's end of year clearance, I got an exceptional value. This deal was much better than any I could have ever gotten at Premier Toyota from my experience. Honda treated me as a valued customer, not just for the one time sale but for life. I would suggest you do the same. Run away from Premier Toyota/Scion and don't let them waste your time and hard earned money. They act like they don't want/need your business and they definitely don't deserve it. Although, I recommend any other dealership except Premier Toyota, Jack Matia Honda exemplifies customer service to me thanks to Bob Zimmerman, Rob and Jerry Draga. Give them a try as Honda cars have great build quality, fuel efficiency, reliability, residual value, and safety.

First Toyota dealership in over 26 years to come to Ohio. Fun, fast, easy business transaction. I'm amazed at all of the big screen tv's I have to watch while I get my oil changed. I thoroughly enjoy the Starbucks coffee and danish's. They always wash my car to get rid of those nasty bugs too. I'm proud to be a Premier customer.

PROS: Fun, Fast, Efficient! No shell games.
