I usually do my pedicure in Brooklyn, while visiting family twice a week (compare $12 for pedi in Brooklyn to $28 in NJ). But sometimes I need to go somewhere local, and Angel Tips is closest to my work. In overall, salon is OK. BUT you really should make an appointment with someone you already know. I had both great and awful experiences, and unfortunately I am too nice to make a scandal about bad things, even if I should. I've been to 2 different Asian ladies, and they were very good with pedi. But once I had no appointment, and they gave me someone who obviously had no experience, and she did not speak English at all! Only Spanish. That was REAL disaster. I spent about an hour instead of regular 20-30 min, and results were terrible. I guess I should've complain right away. So, next time if I have to go there, I call in advance and make an appointment with someone I know.

I went into this salon, with an appointment for a pedicure for me, and a manicure for my friend. The person assigned to me had little to no experience (licensed?) giving pedicures. (She told me herself she did hair and had never done nails). She was also the only non-Asian person in the salon. At first it was fine, but after she started working on my cuticles, it all went down hill. She only scrubbed my right leg instead of doing both. Then, she pointed out a callus (that I had on my foot apparently??) and started asking me about it. During all of this, she was spilling her life story to me, and was totally unfocused on my nails which is why it took her so long. Next came the polish. It looked like a gave a 4 year old a paintbrush to paint my toes. Luckily one of the Asian owners came along and told her to stop and took over. After that, I was brought to the dryer where my nails would dry. When I was sitting, I was informed that my bill would be $28.00, (When you go online, it costs $25.00 for a regular pedicure) At this point I was appalled. From then on I was ignored, and not even recognized when I was finished, or when I said goodbye as I was leaving. Overall, this was the worst place I have ever been to. Do NOT go here. It is the biggest waste of time and money ever. By the way, my friend (who happened to be Asian) got a beautiful manicure, with a free design. (Coincidence?) What I got was a 4 year old's art project on my toes, and a pair of re-used flip-flops. (Is that even legal?) * I'm only giving it one start, because if you don't your review will not be posted)*

I don't get my nails done all that often, but I went to Angel Tips the day before I returned to work from maternity leave. It was a great experience! I didn't have to wait and I received first class customer service. Jamie did my nails and she was wonderful. She is very pleasant. I am not much of a "talker" at the salon, but talking with her was very nice. My nails looked great afterward. While my nails were drying, Jamie gave me a nice neck and shoulder massage. She also waxed my eyebrows and was super-conscientious about it - I've never had someone pay so much attention to the details and make sure my brows were perfect. Angel Tips is very clean inside and nicely decorated - very soothing. I would definitely recommend Angel Tips.

I like how Angel Tips is close to TCNJ, and for a college student who does not have too much money for gas, or for a manicure, that is definitely a plus. The salon is welcoming, they greet you right as you walk in, and they take walk-ins so appointments are not necessary. The prices are like any other salon, with a manicure being about ten dollars. They give you a brief neck massage while your nails are drying, as well. However, make sure if you like one person who does your nails you go back to the same person the next time because one time I went there and this one nail artist did not do that good of a job because she was not in a very good mood.

I went to Angel Tips after a bad day for a mani/pedi, and I instantly felt better as soon as I was getting my pedicure. The salon is very clean and nice-looking, and the staff are so friendly. Though the prices are a bit steep, it's nice to treat yourself once in a while. I had a great experience here and will definitely go back.

I was so happy to find Angel Tips. It's a little more expensive then other nail salons in the area, but it was so worth it. The service was great and my nails looked amazing. Everything was very clean, and the girls who work there couldn't be nicer. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone in the area who wants to splurge on a great manicure or pedicure.
