We just had our son's birthday party and everybody had a great time! My son and all his friends were running inside the play structure tirelessly. The parents and older kids liked coming down the slides. But after about 15 minutes I joined the other adults for a game of pool in the adult lounge and I won a few dollars! My older nieces were too cool to exert themselves so they gathered around the Apple computer surfing the web and watching the HDTV. In the party room the employees did all the work and even brought all the food and drinks to us. There were three of them serving all of us like we were dining in a fine restaurant; that was really unexpected. And then the kids enjoyed themselves in the arcade. Okay the price for everything wasnt cheap but I did some comparisons at other places and I found out that we really get a lot for what we pay for. Plus no other place served us and made it so easy for us than the Playhouse. Well be back!

This place rips people off and they run their business like a prison camp. They don't "nickel and dime" you, they blatantly rip you by the 100's of dollars - all because they know you can't just cancel your kid's party when they start coming up with their unexpected charges. I would recommend you stay as far away from them as possible and pass the word to others. Maybe try the bowling alley just a few minutes south from them on junipero serra (I don't remember the name, but we always have a blast there).

I spent over $500.00 by the time the party was over and they still wanted me to buy tokens for the arcade. They discouraged me from opening my daughter's presents in the private room in order to get you to spend more money by having the kids go to the arcade room. Everything you had to overpay for. Balloons, come on a dollar each for a cheap helium balloon.....The kids had fun but one hour for fun was very costly and you get nothing. I have spent over $500 at build a bear and each child left with a bear and the party girl with a gift. At least get some t-shirts with the logo party playhouse and have the kids sign one for the birthday girl for the amount of money spent there. NEVER AGAIN. I have and will continue to discourage many of the parents from having their party there. RIP OFF!

daly city party playhouse is so fun. i went to my friends birthday pary here it was so fun. their jumpers are so fun. they have a rock climbing thing but it is so small.

i was going to schedule a party here for my daughter but after being told that if I wanted to bring my own food that I would have to pay them 200.00 which is crazy . They want you to pay them and help a buddy at a pizza place that is way over priced please....

We attended a party here and it was CRAZY. I felt like no one knew what we were suppose to be doing and the staff werent very "party like" but more anti party. I wouldnt hold my own party here or go back for someone else party.

The pizza was excellent. I really enjoy Round Table's King Arthur Supreme. The cheese was definitely top of the line. I could tell the person who made this fine piece of pie understood topping proportionality and whatnot. Very generously sized slices. I can only hope that future pizza endeavors follow in the footsteps of these pioneers.

As far as the service, I was shocked to learn I had to pay $100 for having "extra kids" in my party. The fine print said the party would be private but adults and children alike from other parties continually ran in and disrupted our party.

The staff was efficient but they constantly rushed us and reminded us of how much time we had left. It was hard to enjoy our food with people in purple constantly saying "Are you guys ready for cake now" or "You guys have 10 minutes left"

As far as the cancellation policy as reviewed upon by a fellow party host, I can attest to his review. The worker who registered our party spoke broken English and I am still unsure of what he has said to this day.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend DCPP because the private parties aren't really private, the parties are rushed, and the environment is too crazy.

We recently went to a party here (and are going to another next month) and really enjoyed it. There are two areas -- arcade games and a large plastic (soft, not hard like the one at The Jungle) play place. My son loved it! After playing we went to the party room and had lunch and cake. We can't wait to go to the next party!

This was the worst experience in my life having to deal with these mean and heartless people. We have made Disney World plans for the daughter and wanted to change the date of the party to another date, but it wasn't allowed by the management, because their contract says No changes of time or date are allowed. Instead, they offered to cancell the party, which was 4 months away, loose my 100dollar deposit and schedule another date with another 100 deposit. I was so pissed off that I had to cancell the party with them, loose the money and go to another place.

This business specializes in parties for kids. They have a very welcomey place and the staff is really cooperative. They have activites for kids birthdays and the also have catered food. They make a child's birthday a memorable one and for me, a very affordable one.
