We are new home owners and decided to use Perillo. We set a cap and got a contract for oil burner repair for two years. First of all beware because the cap is only for a year, you have to call on your own to set a cap. I thought they would have the courtesy to remind us. I also thought that since the contract was for two years that so was the cap, but aparently not. So now we have to pay $3.49 a gallon or more for the rest of winter. In addition, they said they would automatically remind us to have the burner serviced and they never did. As soon as the burner starting kicking in there was smoke everywhere. When we called they swore up and down they serviced the burner. When they realize they didn't send someone they did send someone, but they came at 11:30 at night. Overall not a terrible company, but beware of their tricks. Also I would pay on delivery because in their budget system you have to pay the highest price that the oil could potentially be, and then at the end of the year they figure out if they owe you money. Me personally I would not trust them to figure out if they owe you money.

I have lived in my home for 38 years and have had three companies during that time. In the first and second instances, the companies, which had been around for years, went out of business. I signed with Perillo upon a friend's recommendation. Then, I purchased an alarm system from Sloamins, and they offered a deal for an contract so I switched. Big mistake. The price did not remain at the low level quoted, and the service was nothing like I had been used to with Perillo. Like others have reported, every time I needed service, even emergency help, they came within a few hours. I have an old system and it needs babying. They always come when needed.

Left Perillo after 4 years for Solmins because I thought I was getting deal. What a mistake.. After my $300 departure(contract) I returned to Perillo. They are courteous, prompt and when I call I get a live person. Burner technicians are friendly, knowledgable and always on time. I have had several "middle of the night" burner issues and they have always been onsite within 2 hrs of my call to repair. Contract is top notch. One of the only companies I know that insures both your tank and burner. I wont consider leaving them again!

We've had to have service on our system six times in the past three weeks. Last night, I called at 8:00 PM, the service person arrived at 11:30 to fix a water leak. Of course he didn't have the parts to fix it, but said we would be put on the schedule for as close to 8:00 AM the next morning. It's now 2:45 PM, and no show so far, even after three follow-up calls to find out when the service man would arrive.

This is no way to serve your clients. If you're going to promise service in the morning, then you'd better be able to live up to your commitment.

We became Perillo Bros, customers in September. When we needed service because of a flooded basement, they came quickly. When it was time for the boiler inspection, they came on time and did a thorough cleanining.
In addition, we get a montly statement so that we can see how accurate the budget plan is. We would definitely recommend them.

I have had 3 other oil companies since I am in my house, Perillo Brothers is by far the best in service, and satisfaction! Everytime I call them for a service call, they respond as quickly as possible.

Perillo brothers is a complete home heating service.
They have automatic delivery of heating oil.
This company also offers service contracts and budget payments which is important with the huge prices on long island. they also offer boiler, furnace and steam replacements.
They have emergency service twenty four hours a day seven days a week.
Perillo brothers is a member of the oil heat institute of long island.
