These guys worked on my 2004 Saturn Ion that had some brake issues that nobody else could seem to figure out. They also recommended a few other things that I had them take care of. Although they are not the "cheapest" place in town I know that my car is running better and I feel safer knowing that I had experts work on my car! You get what you pay for and I feel like I got more quality than any other shop I've been too. Well worth my money, I'll be back for sure!

Don't get ripped off! First of all, I told them exactly what to check when I brought it in. I fix my own cars but didn't have time to get to it and AAA recommended me going here. After 1 full work day of "testing" they told me it wasn't the starter (which I had suspected), and asked to keep it over the weekend. I consented, then on Monday they got back to me around noon about what they found out and gave me a cost of $478!! I asked what the issue was exactly then asked for the part number. I have a manual transmission and the part number they gave me was for an automatic transmission. There is no place on my car where that part could possibly fit even if they wanted to!!! I told them this and he told me he'd call me back. From what they "diagnosed" I couldn't understand where a 45 min. job (at $94/hour) and a $32 OEM part would end up costing me $478!!!! He got back to me a few hours later and told me that it was actually another part (one that would cost $100). I questioned this as well because knowing my car, if that part were bad, the car would still start. I told them to button it up and I'd come pick it up. They didn't call me and tell me it was done, I had to call and find out for myself. Then they called me back 10 min. later to ask if I was coming that day as I was driving there having just told them I was (they wanted to close up shop). Yes, I reported them to AAA and no, I will never be coming back there. Not to mention they broke my fuse pliers and left them on the floor mat for me in pieces. I asked for a piece of wire (would be an even trade for breaking my pliers I thought) and even this was too much to ask, I had to stop at an autoshop to buy a piece of wire. Bad service = Bad review, I hope I've warned someone and saved someone some money, if I didn't know cars, I'd be out $478 for a $32 job that I'm doing while I write this... If you need some work done on your car, PM me and I'll tell you where to go...

Business Response:

Customer came in on a Friday afternoon wanting his starter replaced which is VERY expensive on his Audi. After some discussion, he agreed to testing for the source of the problem instead of just replacing parts. He was given a loaner vehicle for the weekend FREE OF CHARGE so we could finish testing on Monday. The good news was that the starter was not the problem and we did find the source of the issue. The customer refused to believe the results of testing by a Master Technician with well over 20 years of experience and instead chose to believe something he read on the internet. We really want to help and appreciate that there‚??s lots of information out there, but ask people to please be careful. You‚??ve got to trust somebody sometime and we work very hard to earn and keep that trust with each customer. The part the customer mentioned as being only $32 will not fix the car as it has to do with the cruise-control, NOT the starter. We are happy that we were able to save the customer from having to replace the starter and hope he will eventually be able to get the car repaired correctly. The wire mentioned by the customer was used by the technician to bypass the failed part and help get the car started so the customer wouldn‚??t have to push start it yet again. We of course could not leave the wire in place as it would allow the car to be started in gear which is potentially very dangerous to the customer and others.

I always feel confident about taking my car into these guys and know that I'm getting a fair deal. They always tell me what I NEED to get done now and offer good suggestions to keep my car running nice ongoing. I've never had to question the quality of their work and perhaps the best thing about taking my car there is they somehow always remember my name and thank me for coming in.

Last month I had to go to one of your NAPA Dealers to get my vehicle fixed for braking to lug nuts on a tire. They charged me $255. They (the owner Rod) have failed to explain how much it cost in labor and in parts. I have the same situation now, but brake plus will only charge no more than $90 for either 1 or 5 broken lug nuts on a wheel.

This is ridiculous amount of money to replace two lug nuts in one wheel $255. I have talked to the owner of http://www.worldclassautoservice.com/ in 337 W Main Street American Fork, UT 84003 and he did not think it was unreasonable. He would not do anything about it either.

I have filled a formal complaint to http://www.bbb.org

I don't understand how you can put your NAPA name with people like this. The fact that Discount tires agreed with me on this EXPENSIVE charge is not just me.

By they way the car was only there for 2 hrs.... still don't know if it took them that long since the receipt they gave me never had the labor and parts cost, JUST THE TOTAL!

PS: I hope you guys can do something about it ...or otherwise you have lost a lot of customer s for life with my family and MANY people by WORD OF MOUTH as well.

Business Response:

It's unfortunate we could not resolve this issue with the customer. The charge to repair 2 broken lug studs on the right front wheel of his Honda Odyssey was correct. The customer approved the work - in writing - before we proceeded. This was after it was determined that the lug studs could not be removed and replaced on this particular vehicle without pressing out the wheel bearing hub. The customer was taken out to the vehicle and shown the situation, and he approved the work($255, tax included). As the customer was from out of state, it was late in the afternoon, and he was trying to get back on the road we had 2 technicians work in tandem to get the job done on time. The customer was given a complimentary ride to and from where he was staying while the vehicle was being worked on so he could finish his preparations to return home to Arizona. The quote he received after the fact was over the phone, and assumed the hub would not have to be pressed off.

We took our car there to get an estimate. We needed and new clutch. When we took it to finally get fixed, he found some other things with the clutch that needed fixed. In the end, they took over $100 of the bill just to keep with the estimate he gave us. We will use them again and again!

PROS: Honest business

World Class used to be Called International Auto Repair, but there is a new owner. In my experience, I have had nothing but excellent service there. Not only is the service good, but you know you're getting an honest, competative deal. Also, they have a guy there that can diagnose any emission problem you have and fix it! A lot of people do emissions, but this guy knows what to do if you don't pass! This is definitely my most trusted shop for Automotive repairs and emissions/inspection.
