Space Center Houston should not be missed. From the educational movies, speakers and special exhibits. If you are in the Houston area this is a must do event. If you live here and have kids the annual membership is worth every penny. Free parking and admission whenever you want. Also, the exhibits are constantly changing. My daughter still remembers the "That's so Weird Exhibit." from the summer. Highly recommend.

PROS: two different tram tours, movies, fun for everyone. A must see and do even
CONS: The carpet could be replaced seems to be getting a bit worn. No other compl

Thsi place is so much fun. There are all kinds of wonderful things for you and your family to do. Like a lot of other people have mentioned it is expensive, but well worth it.

My family and I went to Space Center Houston during the summer when they were having a kids exploration exhibit. There were so many activities for my 2 yr old son to explore, from a huge maze and ball pit, to entering a space ship, and finding out about many different types of space equipment in their state of the art exhibit they have, even featuring a moon rock from one of the space missions. Entry fees can be pretty expensive, but my wife and I stopped at a hotel on the way, and picked up one of the brochures with buy 1 get one free coupon on it, so the whole trip cost $20, not including the gift shop!

My son and I have spent many great hours here. Space Center Houston, the visitors center for the Johnson Space Center offers plenty of entertainment for the day, for the whole family. Exhibits in the main hall change frequently, so it's neve the same place twice. You may find an exibit on robotics, anatomy, the history of flight, anything. I just saw an advertisement indicating their newest exhiibt is called "Speed". They aslo have an I-MAX theater, some VR rides, a huge play area, climbing structure for the kids, and a tour offered of portions of the JSC. And, of course exhibits and demonstrations on space, astronauts and how they live in space. They have a dining area, but the food is typical for a venua like this, overpriced and not that great, so don't expect too much in that arena. The tour of JSC is really interesting, but is on a tram and you spend alot of time on the tram outdoors, which makes it not so great when it's really hot. The price is a little high, but you can usually find coupons at local grocery stores, or on their website. It's a great place to visit if you are a tourist, or to take your guests from out of town since it's something unique to Houston. If you live close enough to make use of it, the yearly pass is worth the investment. That's how my son and I spent so much time there.
