My husband and I both graduated from this college, and it was a horrible experience. It isn't so much the extremely rigid rules (obviously I was able to cope with them since I was able to graduate), but it is the attitude of the staff and most of the college; petty arguements about how other Christian colleges or universities are supposedly unGodly (Bob Jones University), and taking Scripture out of context to support some of their wacky claims (like Jesus didn't turn water into wine, but in fact, "turned it into grapejuice," or how the NIV is the ONLY Bible that should be read, or why girls wearing pants is evil..I could go on).

My point is, I wanted to go to a place where I could grow in the Lord, and truly feel inspired to lead others to Christ--this place only made me feel bullied and depressed.

Also, beware that this college is not credited; in the eyes of my potential employers, my degree is basically worthless. I'm forced to go back to school and start over as freshman because I'm considered underqualified.

Whether you are a parent seeking a safe and acedemic college for your child or you are a student, yourself, seeking out the education and student-life you want; PCC is one place you shouldn't pass by! My daughter graduated from this university in 1997 and loved it there. As parents, we felt that her safety and well-being were of utmost importance to the school. She received a wonderful education and attended a world-renowned school in Florida no less, for a fraction of the cost of other Christian/Bible colleges. The campus is gorgeous! You feel like you are walking into a perfect little oasis when you drive onto campus. Since we have been there, I know a lot more building has gone on and there are many more ammenities available now than were there when my daughter attended (even then there was a lot for her to do). Where to begin?? Tonnes of intercollegiate activities, full 4/5year degrees, masters degrees, safety, ice rink, bowling, theater arts, collegians, friendships, wonderful staff, terrific church... I have nothing bad to say about PCC at all. My daughter was taken back by the rigid rules to begin with, but taken in the correct context, you will see how they are helping to keep you safe on/off campus. She now hopes her sons will go to this school when they are ready for that step in their lives.

PROS: Price, Location, Education, Inter-Collegiate Activities... A+ All Around!
CONS:
