Bad Experience!!! - A woman's story 1 By woman28 w. Dr. Brian Casaclang My experience with Dr. Casaclang was rather bad. If you google this doctor, you will notice that only men review him. Why do all these guys rate him so highly you may ask? Because he's gay. Now I don't have a problem with sexual preferences, I'm a lesbian, but I found his services rather abrupt and felt extremely rushed out of his office. The only thing he seems good for is prescribing and refilling prescriptions, and saying a prior diagnosis was correct even though he doesn't attempt to check it out himself. This was my first visit with him as my PCP. I never was asked to fill out my medical history, and when I called for the appointment they wouldn't let me tell them why and said i would have plenty of time to discuss it with him - which never happened. I arrived on time and had to wait 20 minutes past to see him (the office wasn't busy), when he finally came in he was rushing me out the door because he noticed that i was prescribed medication 3 days prior because the pain was so outrageous i couldn't wait for the appointment and had to go to the ER. He kept pushing refills on me and made me fill like a pill popper when all i wanted him to do was get an X-Ray or MRI ordered to see if I had anything worse going on. He then tried to run out the door and i was like HOLD ON A MINUTE!!! I haven't seen a Dr. in forever and needed some other tests run but he was so busy with trying to get rid of me that I never got them run! I'm changing my PCP after this experience! Dr. Brian Casaclang Ihad another doctor at the Advocate Health Center (who has since moved on), and accidentally got Dr.Casaclang one day when "my" doctor was out. What a difference! The guy listens to you. (And I go see a doctor every other year or so, I'm hardly the type with long bag of complaints). Iswitched right away. He is the best if not the only good doctor left in this family practice. He would listen to you and never rush you like other doctor in this horrible place. If you happen to be stuck with this practice, please just go to him, because other physician in this practice will only tell you to eat right and to have regular exercise for your every concern. I usually only see him once or twice a year and we can catch up very quickly. He holds high standards at his practice and can explain what is wrong with you in plain terms.
