I was on vacation and wanted to buy gifts for my left-handed happy hour club. Very disappointed! Maybe you should update your website as the phone # IS DISCONNECTED!

The Southpaw Shoppe is one of those stores that you visit thinking ?what a neat place?. Catering entirely too left handed people, the Southpaw Shoppe is very unique compared to other gift specialty shops in San Diego, and offers unique left hand minded merchandise that you can?t find anywhere else. Print out your Big Bay Bonus Card before heading down to the Southpaw Shoppe to make a purchase, because the Big Bay Bonus Card entitles you to 11% off any purchase in the store, as long as it?s not a sale priced item. Whether you have a left handed student headed back to school and are looking for items with your left handed student in mind such as left handed scissors, or you are looking to make your favorite left handed chef?s life in the kitchen easier with left handed soup ladles or even grapefruit knives, you are sure to find everything you need to fill the wish list of any left handed person. The thing that sets this store apart is they offer hard to find left handed sewing scissors that most of the local craft stores do not sell. They also sell really unique gifts that would make great ?gag? gifts for anyone who is not left handed like left handed clocks which run counter clockwise. The worst thing about this store is that since it is tucked in Seaport Village with so many other shops, many people see the store?s name, don?t know what kind of merchandise they offer, and they pass right by it without giving this store a chance. Next time you are in Seaport Village, make sure you stop by the Southpaw Shoppe, even if you aren?t left handed, you will get a good laugh from the wide variety of merchandise they offer, and you might find something (left handed or not), that you have to have. The staff is friendly, and will help you find the perfect gift, or the solution to your long time left handed woes. If it exists for left handed people, and they don?t have it, they can tell you where you can find it in the area or online. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell, and products in general made for left handed people.

PROS: Many unique items, geared towards left handed people
CONS: Parking is a nightmare, can be expensive

Southpaw at the Seaport Village in San Diego, CA is such a unique store. They carry gifts and items that are specially made for left-handers. This is truly a left-hander's dream come true. It is cool to see what kind of things left-handers have come up with in order to do the things that we right-handers take for granted. If you have a left-handed family member or friend, or you are yourself left-handed, I am sure you have heard complaints about how "it's a right-hander's world out there." This store is for all of the left-handers in the world (or at least the ones that visit Seaport Village).

The Southpaw Shoppe is a specialty store that sells merchandise specifically for the left-handed person. The sells items for the kitchen like peelers and can openers. They also sell items for school like left-handed scissors and notebooks. I bought my sister whos left-handed something from this store that she loved so much that she now goes to this store to shop herself.
