We love the Christmas lights at Hidden Hollow Park, It looks like every year there is some thing new. A must See in Cookeville. My Family really enjoys feeding the animals, ducks and goats. Hidden Hollow has been a family tradition for many years, we take the kids to see the lights every year. They can run and play around the park.

Hidden Hollow Park has a great Christmas Light show every year. They have added alot of new LED lights and some new displays.
they are open starting on Thanksgiving night and runs through Dec.
Santa arrives every Saturday Night in December.
The light starts at Dusk and run till 9:00pm
They spend thousands of dollars on new lights every year.

I first went to Hidden Hollow as a girl of 12 yrs old when I moved to Tn from WI, I had never seen anything like it. Arda Lee the original owner and builder of this little known magical place was like the long lost grandfather everyone had but just didn't realize it until they met him. It was his tradition, the very first time any child that had recently moved to the area came to his park they didn't pay to get in he said it just wouldn't be right. I couldn't count the number of times I spent long summer days in the park feeding the animals, playing volleyball, having a cookout with my family in one of his pavilions of just enjoying the beautiful sights of nature around me. When I read of Arda passing on I was truly saddened. Once again when I heard it was up for auction a cpl years later I was worried, what would happen to one of my favorite youthful getaways? Would some big name developer buy the place and tear it down as happens so often these days, would the new owners REALLY understand what Arda Lee and Hidden Hollow has meant to me and hundreds of other locals for so many years? I waited in anguish to find out what fate had in plan for the magical yet simple park. Fate certainly knew what it was doing by bringing Vince and Amanda to the park as the new owners. They have worked so hard and still continue to work endlessly to not only restore the park to its former glory but are accomplishing going beyond that to what I think Arda Lee would have done had he been several years younger and had more time. They truly are great people that just want to continue to give to the community in a way that couldn't make Arda Lee himself more proud. I was married last March, and my husband and I couldn't seem to find the right place to say our vows, when we heard 3 mths before we married that Hidden Hollow was indeed back to being open for business we both readily agreed and on March 29, we were married in the Chapel on the Hill, it couldn't have been more perfect, we had our reception there as well and Amanda was a GOD send!!! To anyone who reads this, if you want to discover a little piece of simple country peacefulness or have a small but intimate wedding that won't drive you crazy from exhaustion but rather provide you with memories that you can cherish for all times than look no further, Hidden Hollow in the capable, friendly, and genuinely heartfelt hands of Vince and Amanda is your perfect answer.

After being closed for awhile HIdden Hollow park in Cookeville has reopened under new owners, Vince and Amanda Taylor. It now cost $ 4.00 to get in, but that covers everything but Mini golf. Mini Golf is only $ 3.00 per person and it is unlimited. The Taylors have worked hard bringing the park back to life, adding the golf, some camping, and many events thru out the year. Each weekend more and more of the park is restored and the place is so lovely, we enjoy each visit.
It was nice to spend a day in a place that was clean and family oriented,

Hidden Hollow is a privately owned park located in Cookeville. Every year they have some really great activities for kids to come and enjoy. They have fishing contests in the summer, harvest festivals in the fall. My families favorite is the Christmas lights that run through late November thru the new year. It cost $1 per persn or adult, I can't remember. But, it has become a tradition and Christmas wouldn't be the same withouth it. You can drive through and look at the lights or get out and feed the ducks, look at the deer, rabbits and walk the trail. (Sometimes they have a campfire going to warm yourself by.) You can also book the park for private parties, wedding and such.
