I purchased a 350z from Autoventures a few years ago. The condition of the car was accurate and the price was good. Customer service was pleasant. I liked the no hassle environment. It was a good deal and a good buying experience.

This dealer does not honor repairs, warranties, or their written agreements. Avoid at all costs. They will not return email or phone calls, and their vehicles have hidden issues that will take months to find.

Are you looking for dishonest sales staff?
Are you wanting to be lied to?
Are you looking for a vehicle that has been in an accident?
Do you enjoy reading false advertising?

Then this is the place for you. Nothing but problems. Will never do business with again, and will make sure everyone who plans on shopping here knows of my experience.

Found Autoventure online and contacted them re a 2007 Ford Edge AWD for $17999.Spoke with "John" who assured me no serious accidents although he didn't have the car history ,carfax handy. "We don't buy those kind of cars " only lease returns from the Northeast from the various manufacturers. At most a repainted bumper for stone chips. Also asked about interior burns and assured in good condition "but it is a used vehicle".
Fair enough.
If you check their website under About Us ' they will hold the vehicle for you for 7 days for non refundable $100 on your credit card. So I did.
Drove from Canada, over 400 kms -250 miles, prepared to purchase the Edge and found a vehicle that had had severe damage to the front end, suspension damage to the right front spring and strut assembly, repainted still damaged hood with enough impact to damage the passenger door, and rear passenger door and rocker.Burn hole in the drivers side carpet 3/4 inch long and a burn in the headliner above the window.Test drove the vehicle prior to close examination and found serious driveline vibration and serious binding on tight right turn.In my opinion the vehicle has sustained serious damage and was poorly and cheaply repaired.Over spray, runs in the paint and painted over masking tape on the center of the hood does nothing to hide the damage.
Told John vehicle was not as described and had been in serious accident...show me the carfax. Autoventures, according to John doesn't subscribe to CarFax or anything similar as it wasn't cost effective and they found customers didn't normally care. Then tried to tell us the repairs were done by Ford and all lease vehicles go back to Ford for an assembly line re-paint and repair before going out for resale.Obviously painting over tape, leaving damaged panels and runs are part of the Ford Quality is Job 1 mantra.
Interestingly, many of Autoventures used cars such as Nissan , Toyota must be sent to the Ford factory as well because three of the four cars we examined in the lot had obvious poor quality repair and repaint. Gaps didn't match, paint colour match was off on hood and fender. I gave "John " two weeks for return of my $100. I emailed, plus a followup phone call for the misrepresented vehicle...Of course you never hear back
If you do decide to deal with Autoventure have your own mechanic examine it,buy your own Carfax and if John is your salesman just keep in mind he lies. The cars we saw at Autoventure had a history ...but they wont tell you. Better Business to be notified..
Their policy- price is firm ...not so much...John wanted me to make an offer (I wouldn't) to make the deal happen.
Beware,beware beware

In fairness, I should clarify that I've never actually bought a car here, I've only done lots of car shopping here.
Autoventures is a little different in how they approach the used car business. The cars are clearly marked with a price. There are no roaming sales people, no pestering, really no interaction at all as you wonder the lot. There is also no haggling with the price. It is what it is, and you buy it as is or you don't. This sounds like a great policy except that sometimes the cars are not mechanically sound. Just make sure you take a mechanic with you, and that you are sure that the listed price is what you want to pay.
I've had 2 friends buy from here, one had 2 blown engines, and the other is still going strong with no mechanical problems after 2 years.
