I would rate Avalon at 12 if I could. I've been stopping in periodically for years to buy greeting cards, exoticly colored pens and inks, seals and sealing wax, blank books, notebooks, etc. You name it, they've got it!\r\n\r\nLast year when I got married, I went by to get a bid for my ""save the date"" cards. Not only was the staff exceedingly efficient and familiar with all the customs and formality of wedding papers, but the proof I got was beautiful and only a quarter of other estimates I had been provided by others ""specializing in wedding stationery"". Needless to say, they totally won my business and I couldn't have been happier with the results from the invitations to the programs to the thank you notes (which I'm still getting complimented on). I even got my wedding book there!\r\n\r\nThe shop does a huge volume of business with both Crane's and William Arthur (among others) and can easily get sales reps on the phone if needed to answer questions and provide accurate estimates of production times. In fact, I was often surprised when my orders arrived more quickly than I'd anticipated. As an added measure of quality control, before I was contacted, each order was hand-counted so that I would know exactly how many of each item to expect (no mean feat when you consider all the pieces that go into a wedding invitation).\r\n\r\nThe staff is also wonderfully patient and will happily work with you one-on-one to develop and perfect proofs before going to print, even laying out several options and locating examples of color combinations to give you the best idea possible before setting everything in stone, or engraving plates (as the case may be).\r\n\r\nOne final thing to mention is their wonderful array of holiday cards that may be personalized and envelopes that can be printed with your return address. They can also create embossers and custom stamps for you, too.\r\n\r\nStop by and see what wonderful ways they can help improve your correspondence!

Pros: Everything stationery under one roof

.

This stationary shop is a full service invitation, cards and gift stop. They carry a plethora of blank invitations and cards, some already printed, most blank which they will print for you or you can take to print yourself.

PROS: Internet quality stock
CONS: small space
