Reigning Sound loves Double Decker!  5 Star Rating - World class

By greg c.

My name is Greg Cartwright and I travel with my band the Reigning Sound a lot. I also used to own a record store in Memphis. This record store is hands down one of the five best left in the country. I travel a lot and I've seen whats left out there folks. It doesn't really get better than this. Obscure psych, garage, soul and the best selection of original punk 7'' and LP's at the best prices I've seen anywhere.

Mick J is a jealous liar  5 Star Rating - World class

By alex s.

There are only 3 reasons user Mick J chose to lie... a. personal vendetta. b. major store envy, sounds like someone from a lesser store playing the worlds smallest violin, crying himself to sleep. c. he's blind. Double Decker is world renowned, people come to the US and this store is on their list of things to see. Bands on tour go out of their way, just to shop here. Before i moved to PA i would drive from long island, and any time i went west i planned a few hours to flip thru their tens of thousands of records. People come in from ct, nj, va, wv and all over the country and world when traveling. There is a gigantic room full of 50 cent records and an even bigger room full of new releases, and used records from ALL genres, in ALL price ranges. There are hundreds of 7"s starting at $1, thats a pretty far cry from the "nothing under $20" user Mick J. flat out lied about. Not to mention thousands of used cd's/ dvd's and records at or around $5. Get a clue. If you collect records and have never shopped here you need to re-evaluate your life...

Great store !!  5 Star Rating - World class

By jack b.

This store is one of the best stores for vinyl that I've ever been to ! Rarities galore ! And great prices !!

When you come to the store, you talk to the owner who is a super-cool guy.

He gives good money for your used records.

Next time I'm in town, that's where I'll be heading !

huge selection low prices excellent condition  5 Star Rating - World class

By johnny s.

Tens of thousands of lp's. Main room of store filled with lp's and singles from $1.00 and up side room filled with thousands of lp's for 50 cents. Sections for just about every style of music you can think of. One of the biggest punk, indie and new wave sections I have ever seen. The last reviewer must be crazy. 90+% of the used lp's are under 10 bucks and condition is well above par. There are lots of new arrivals daily. It seems like the last reviewer has a personal vendetta against the store. Totally worth the trip. If you like records you will not be let down.

very poor record store  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

By mick j.

Poor selection (they didn't have 1 single studio album from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, or David Bowie), ridiculous prices (nothing under $10. most over $20), and a small, cramped store.

Double Decker Records in LeHigh Valley has a huge collection of vinyl records. Yes, everything that you had thought was obsolete has actually been stored in this shop.
Double Decker also work with local artists, releasing albums for local distribution.
Lots of underground stuff to find at the place.
