Bear Creek Park

Bear Creek park is really 2 parks in one, not counting the little "zoo". There is a 2 mile paved jogging trail, lots of shaded picnic tables and grills along with the animals for the kids to see. The other side of the park has shelters and lots of trees. Very crowded on weekends, but you can still find a decent spot.

You will love this place. Pack a picnic and head over. they have goats, donkeys, ostriches, emus, buffalo and more. They have an aviary with birds. A beautiful picnic area with shade trees and a pond. They have a great playground and pavilion. You can also get some exercise with their basketball courts or their tennis courts. You can play horseshoes or bring your bikes and ride on a nice trail through the park. I would reccommend that you go on a weekday, because weekends are busy.
