This boutique has the coolest handcrafted jewelry, and it's my go-to for original baby gifts. I probably stop in once every couple of weeks, and there's always something new to see. It's not very big, but the selection more than makes up for it. The staff is really warm and friendly, the prices are totally reasonable. You will not be disappointed!

Awesome place for vinyl and fabric bags. They have leather too, but I'm not interested in that. Super cute stuff all the time, the best for presents. Owner is really nice and knows a lot about all of the merch.

I used to shop online for a lot of the lines they carry at Naka, because they're hard to find and usually are only sold online or in Chicago, New York, etc. The buyer at Naka has an amazing eye and puts together a fantastic selection--some inexpensive and some more high end, but the prices hold up well compared to what's online and in other stores. They have a site too, I think. I stop in a lot to see what's new and to drewl over the things I want my husband to buy me for my birthday. Are you reading, honey?

Pros: good for gifts, amazing jewelry

Cons: parking can be tricky (try the lot by Rosie's)

Totally under the radar, lots of DIY and local goods, great vibe. Not for people who are overly invested in labels, but good for those with unique personal style (like me--I hope:)) I buy presents here all the time, and stuff for me and my husband too.

Pros: Good prices, awesome merchandise, cool staff

Cons: It's not close enough to my house!

If I could buy every awesome purse, necklace, and t-shirt in that store, I would. Great, handmade, stylish items for adults and babies. My husband even loves it, and he's a graphic designer with really picky taste, so that's saying a lot. Also, even though it's a really nice store, it's also super affordable. One of my favorite stores in Ferndale or Royal Oak!!!

PROS: Unique, stylish items
CONS: A lot of one-of-a-kind, so it might be gone when you come back to buy it.

If you like handmade items, Naka is the place to be. Just recently opened, it seems to be doing quite well for its self. Jewelry, clothing, art, homeware. Convienient parking is located in the front and rear, and is in the heart of Fashionable Ferndale! I suggest making a stop at Naka.
