2940 Salon-Spa

I have been a client of 2940 since the doors opened. I have always considered it my home away from home. From the moment you step across the threshold you are greeted with a warm smile and a hearty "Hello, how are you, I will let them know you are here. Can we get you anything...??".
No matter if I am getting color with Beth or cut with Todd.. I have never left there without being anything but absolutely amazed. And this comes from a girl that has had every length hair and every color known to man.
Beth recently turned my blonde summer hi-lights into a gorgeous brown..my friends have all said "your hair is absolutely fabulous..I LOVE the color".And this was all done with foils, so there is a tone and depth in there that can only be achieved with someone that has an eye for the best!!
Todd has been cutting my hair for at least 10yrs. He always knows what I want even if I don't...!! I know that I will get nothing less than perfection from him everytime!! I am always being asked "who does your hair, I LOVE it??!!".
Something else I have shared with everyone I know..2940 Salon are now exclusive carriers for the Shu Uemura hair care line in Montgomery that if you haven't already discovered it...you don't know what you are missing!! This is by far one of the BEST hair care lines I have ever used and is well worth the investment! You will see a difference after just one wash!! You don't have to take my word for it..but I do promise your hair WILL thank you for it!!!
I consider the entire staff of 2940 Salon like family...I have and will continue to recommend this salon to anyone that I know. Everyone from Robin at the front desk, to Allison in the Spa area...there is something to be said for the unique contemporary look and feel of a salon like this that also adds a personal touch that is created just for you!

If you are looking for nothing less than a STELLAR experience from head to toe...2940 is where it's at!!!!

I've been going to 2940 for over 7 years. They have impeccable service, a hip environment, and a professional, caring staff who are at the top of their game. Robin and Nichole and the entire front desk staff are warm, friendly, and efficient -- love them. Unlike some salons in Montgomery, there isn't a loud "hum" of activity and distracting noise -- the interior is spacious and calming without being stuffy. And the magic they do with your hair! (or nails or skin, etc) Everyone always compliments me on my haircut and I tell them to "go see Todd Taylor at 2940." He's the best and this salon is wonderful.

I have been a client of this salon for over 15 years. I have never experienced or observed anyone ever being rude. I had cancer and had to be fitted for a wig. I was treated with the utmost dignity, care and respect during that time. The styles and highlights are always carefully selected and I have been very pleased with the look. Their professionalism and expertise are unsurpassed.

I ended up with an OK haircut here, not bad and not great. The stylist didn't come over to see my hair and talk about what I wanted before I had my hair washed, so the first time she ever saw me I already had wet hair--I think that is part of the reason why I didn't really like the ultimate result. The salon itself is very nice inside. They have a kind of odd "no-tip" policy, which is good to know about.

This salon was recommended to me by a very good friend, and I decided to try it out even though I had been going to the same salon for over 7 years. I'm very particular about who I let cut my hair, but I needed a change and went with her advice and went to Todd. I have never had a better experience in a salon OR with a stylist. Everyone there is wonderful and Todd is a DREAM!!! He gave me one of the best haircuts of my life and I wouldn't go anywhere else!!! If you haven't been, you must try them out. You will not be sorry that you did!!!

I had a pedicure done here last week. 2940 is very conveniently located on Zelda Road and I called one day and was able to get in the next day. I got a great pedicure for $40. When I was checking out and tried to tip, the lady told me that they are a NO TIPPING SALON! How nice!

When I moved to Montgomery 2 years ago, I was referred to Todd at 2940. There was no need to go any further to try another stylist or salon. 2940 has a professional and friendly staff, convenient location, and lovely facility with a relaxing atmosphere.

This is an Aveda salon. Everyone does a really good job and you don't have to tip after your haircut. This keeps it reasonable for your haircut. They massage your head when you get your hair washed.

I have been going to 2940 for nearly 2 years now, and they have become my one stop shop for everything - haircuts (Mandee is great!!), color (so is Allen), mani/pedi (Gwen), brows, all of it. The staff at 2940 did my hair and my sister's hair and make up for her wedding - and I say the staff because truly everyone was part of making it special - and I can't tell you how many compliments we both received!! Highly recommended, great job, awesome atmosphere!!

I firmly believe that going to get a haircut should be a thoroughly enjoyable experience-- a treat for the senses. 2940 is an Aveda concept spa that provides exactly this experience. With a number of stylists that range in experience from new to the world of hair to over 20 years of experience, 2940 has a stylist to fit every budget.
