The reasoning behind my decision to choose Dress Right Cleaners was flawed from the very start: this business was located next door to my favorite shoe repair store, in a busy downtown neighborhood, and, in my eyes, its location was a good recommendation.
I couldn't have been more wrong. My clothes returned with the same stains I had asked to remove. To make things worse, the man in the store was extremely rude, both with me and his female assistant (I guess he didn't like what she had charged me). I am surprised that this person has managed to stay in business, considering his rudeness and inability to provide services he advertises.
Needless to say, I am not returning and would never recommend this business to anyone.

Dress Right is like tailor meets soup nazi! If you're "lucky" to get Jeffrey, he will give (or show through facial expressions) his opinion of what should be tailored, but he really knows what he's doing, and the clothes will always look better on you than before, even if your wallet is lighter. Of course, sometimes you just want someone simple done, and Jeffrey isn't always there. Regardless, I trust them with my better clothes since I know they'll do it right. The prices are reasonable and comparable for Center City (I think it's $11 to hem pants w/o lining). They recently moved a few stores down, so their shop looks a little fancier, and the dressing rooms are nicer.

I have been been these tailors several times, and I would trust my best clothes to be tailored here. They charge just a little more than the tailor across the street from my apartment, but they do a much better job. For example, in hemming suit jacket sleeves (which I often need to do since I'm petite with shorter arms), they'll keep the same design (buttons etc) on the side. If you get Jeffrey(?), he will usually give you his opinion, even if you don't want it! (Imagine soup nazi meets Asian tailor). When I went with a suit once, I just wanted to get the sleeves done, but he said it was too boxy and big and started pinning it all around to make it more tailored. Well, I agreed to it, and it cost a lot more, but it's true, I feel like a million bucks when I put on that suit. They also do dry cleaning.

PROS: Master tailors
CONS: You get more tailoring that you expected
