Great little shop with a lot of selection  5 Star Rating - World class

I love Asian Pop! This mom & pop shop has the best selection of Taiwanese and Japanese artists in the DFW area. Although Cantonese artists are featured as well, the majority of the music is in Mandarin and Japanese. I find the prices reasonable. They always exceed my expectations. Whenever I have questions or looking for something more specialized, the owners are more than willing to help. As a longtime, loyal customer, I highly recommend this place!

Expensive to own  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

This place has tons of DVDs and CDs of singers mostly from China but lots from Vietnam. I really like to come here to look for my favorite singer Andy Lau but the prices seem to be so expensive. I usually wait for trips to Houston to buy any CDs because they have such cheap DVDs so I really just go for the window shopping and so that I can see what I will buy in Houston. I think many of the people come here because there is a drink place next door that doesn't have many chairs.

Very unique store  4 Star Rating - Very good

This store has a very wide variety of items. From pencil tools to towels, they offer very interesting eastern merchandise. The prices are very expensive, but that is just what you pay for those items. Their CD collection is decent and has many eastern tracks, but there is not enough western music available at this place.

Best local source for assorted East Asian goods  4 Star Rating - Very good

Excellent local resource for Asian entertainment and other goods. Large stock of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese music (inexpensive because they are on Chinese labels, but good quality). Also available are Chinese manga that you can rent, and a large selection of character goods (Sanrio, Pucca, etc. letter sets, cell phone accessories, pencils, stuffed animals...) Some of these items can be a little expensive, but no more than they would cost at any other location. Also, Chinese and Japanese magazines and toiletries, and knick-knacks. Very friendly staff.
