I dont know much about the Charity except that they try to protect religious rights and claim to be a Christian organization. We recently found out that my elderly, widowed great aunt has been making contributions to the organization. This would be fine except for the fact she is on a fixed income and suffers from dementia. The telemarketer would have had to walk her through the process of getting her credit card information and would be well aware that she did not know what she was doing. They then proceeded to call her every 10 days to get more money. I became aware of the situation when looking through her credit card reciepts and she could not recall the charges. I called the so called "Charity" and explained them the situation and they coldly responded saying they do not issue refunds but will take her off the calling list. I called again the next day trying to speak with someone else and they told me the same thing and that they would remove her from the calling list. Therefore, they did not take her off the calling list the day before when I spoke to them. I cant believe a religous "Charity" would in my opinion, steel money from an 85yr old widowed women that lives on a fixed income and show no compassion towards her. I know they have the ability to refund her money and will fight to get the hundreds of dollars she unknowingly donated back. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS CHARITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently learned about the American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ) and am so grateful for their support in legal matters concerning religious rights in America today and for providing education in this and other constitutional liberties areas. Their Legal Helpline (1-757-226-2489) is wonderful when I have a question about public schools and my rights. Even though I've never been able to get in, the call-in radio program (1-800-684-3110 from 12-12:30 PM EST/EDT) is informational and very helpful. I appreciate being able to use the petition call-in number (1-877-989-2255) to make my opinion known to my representatives in Washington. A great legal service.

PROS: Brilliant legal analysis; devoted staff; fights for underdog!
CONS:
