you can't find more reliable ski conditions anywhere outside the Cottonwood Canyons. Park City has nice downtown strip of restaurants and shops, and of course the Sundance Film Festival is a big draw.

Park City Mountain Resort is the 5th ranked Ski Resort in the world for the 2005/2006 ski season. In addition to amazing skiing and boarding there is a great resort village, with two hotels (the Gables and the Marriott Mountainside), a few condo rental units, shopping, ski rentals, restaurants and even ice skating. If going to Park City I recommend Legends for lunch and/or dinner, Jake's for rentals, Baja Cantina for drinks and take advantage of the lunch stop at the top the Bonanza Lift. There is also easy access to the top lift, so you can come or go to Main Street via the ski slopes. There is also a city bus drop off that runs about every 10 minutes from the Skating Rink can will take you anywhere in two for free. Park City Mountain Resort if a great place to ski and stay.

The first time I went to park city to ski, I noticed that the resort had great high speed lifts that fit SIX, not four, people on each chair. I was astounded to ride high speed lift after high speed lift. I have had several season passes here and would recommend it to anyone. There is terrain for all ages and and skill levels.

PROS: Quick lifts, great snow, good runs
CONS: Snow ends earlier in season than other resorts
